Len Wein does the definitive origin of Libra. That alone tells you this is a good story. A lot of questions remained unanswered from Len’s first Libra story in the Justice League. How did he get his powers? How was he able to build the Injustice Gang’s satellite?
Len answers these and more. He explains what happened to Libra between the Justice League appearance and the Final Crisis. For a fan like me, this is the explanation I was looking for. If you are not following Final Crisis, this story is one that you would not pick up anyways.
The art was disappointing for a Final Crisis tie-in. So far, the art has been consistently good for the series. This was the first sub-par art job.
Overall, it is a must read for fans of Final Crisis. I wish DC had published it earlier in the series. It would have helped clear up some confusion.
