We have a total of 17 titles headed to the Bunker today. This week is slightly Marvel heavy.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? Justice Society of America #23 kicks off the Black Adam story arc. This is Johns’ final story arc on the JSA so I fully expect it to be a good one.

However, the DC comic book issue that I am most looking forward to reading is Final Crisis #7. Yes, there is no doubt that this event has had its problems. But, the fact remains that I like Morrison’s writing and I am very curious to see what Morrison has in store for us with the ending to this big event.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? I am not all that excited to read Trinity #35. This comes as no surprise as this title continues to fail to impress me each and every week.

However, the DC comic book that I am least looking forward to reading is Legion of Super Heroes #50. And it is not because I do not think that Shooter won’t crank out a good read. I am completely confident that Shooter will deliver another quality read like he has done during his run on this title.

No, my lack of excitement over this issue is because DC is going to screw around with the Legion’s continuity. Again. DC is determined to incessantly pick at this scab until it is permanently raw and bloody. I am also not happy that the Legion will be losing their monthly comic book. I do not like the fact that the Legion will be reverted back to being a second class franchise and having to star in back-up stories over on Adventure Comics. This is not progression. This is complete regression.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? What is there not to like from the House of Ideas this week? Marvel is loading us up with so many fantastic titles today.

I am excited to read Captain America $46, Daredevil #115, Incredible Hercules #125, Nova #21, Ultimate Spider-Man #130 and Wolverine: First Class #11. All of these titles promise to be great reads.

However, the title that I am most looking forward to reading is Fantastic Four #563. Millar has made this title such fun read. I am eagerly awaiting the Masters of Doom story.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? None. This is an outstanding selection of comic books headed our way from Marvel this week.

  1. Aw.. no x-force? I agree with kevin, All of my favorite marvel titles come out this week with the exeption of Wolverine. Herc, Cap, Daredevil, X-Force, USM, Avengers: the Initiative, wow. This week is only two titles away from all my favorite titles: Fables and Wolverine is all that is missing.
