AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #22
Kraven believing that his fate is closely tied to Spider-Man gives the character a whole new layer of depth that makes him standout from other Spider-Man villains. It’s a dark layer but it is unique to Kraven.
AVENGERS: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2019
The Avengers future seems to be going to party in the 90s. Maybe they are all going back in time to watch the MCU Captain Marvel movie?
BATMAN #70
Batman turning all the nightmares he experienced as a weapon to make Scarecrow fear him because he has overcome every version of his Fear Gas is possibly the best thing to come out of the “Knightmares” story arc.
BATMAN #71
Batman coming to terms that Bane has really broken him continues to be fascinating to watch. Until he admits that it does not seem he will be able to overcome whatever plans Bane and his crew have in store for the Batman Family and Gotham City.
BATMAN: LAST KNIGHT ON EARTH #1
Joker being just a head that Batman now carries around in a post-apocalyptic world is an interesting shift in the dynamic that we will likely see develop over the course of Batman: Last Knight On Earth.
BATMAN/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES III #1
Seeing the original black and white Raphael show up gives me hope that Batman/TMNT III will go the route of Turtles Forever and we see different versions of Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Personally would love to see the 80s TMNT cartoon and Batman from the 90s animated series show up.
CAPTAIN AMERICA #10
The artwork for this fight shows that there has been a lot of frustration within Steve Rogers. He finally got to let loose and that was not good news for Baron Von Strucker.
CAPTAIN MARVEL #5
It was only a matter of time before Captain Marvel and Rogue finally had a heart to heart. This conversation sets up a future team-up between the two. Maybe in the new Marvel Team-Up series.
CATWOMAN #11
No one pulls off getting on a speeding delivery van with as much style and skill as Catwoman.
DAREDEVIL #5
When Spider-Man gets serious you know something major went down. Seeing him talk to Matt Murdock about giving up being Daredevil right now was a moment in Marvel history to remember.
DAREDEVIL #6
While Matt finally had to give up on being Daredevil 24/7 it does not look like Kingpin has taken to kindly to that news. Maybe he should focus more on being Mayor of New York City than focusing on if Daredevil is still around to play with.
DC’S YEAR OF THE VILLAIN SPECIAL #1
Lex Luthor being the mastermind of all the events that will be going on for the rest of the year makes for an interesting sub-plot within stories like Event Leviathan, City of Bane and others.
DETECTIVE COMICS #1003
Nothing like a fun scene between the Dynamic Duo. Hopefully we get more of this as we haven’t gotten a lot of Batman and Robin teaming up since New 52 began.
THE FLASH #70
Barry Allen is a quick study. To bad it was not quick enough for all his tests eating up his bank account to buy all those new shoes.

Old Man Barry Allen explaining why Flash always shows up with the iconic slide into scenes.
FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN #6
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #6 is such a special issue. This is just an example of why the first appearance of Spider-Bite was fantastically handled by Tom Taylor and Juann Cabal.
THE GREEN LANTERN #6
Liam Sharp has really come into his own as a Green Lantern artist with each passing issue. The entire presentation of The Green Lantern is unique from everything else being published. This is just an example of that.
HEROES IN CRISIS #9
Heroes In Crisis was a Wally West story, especially in the last few issues. The pressures of that and the consequences of Wally’s actions will stay with the character for a long time.
JUSTICE LEAGUE #23
The relationship between Clark Kent and his son Jon Kent has been the best thing to happen to the Superman mythos. Their dynamic is special and it is great to see Clark taking on the role Pa Kent had for him as a father and mentor.
MARVEL TEAM-UP #2
For someone that went through a lot of trouble to get his secret identity back Peter has had a tough time not having others learn that he is Spider-Man.
MR. & MRS. X #11
Rogue showing why she will always have Gambit’s back no matter what.
SPIDER-GWEN: GHOST SPIDER #8
Spider-Gwen going for the big save in the middle of a big show. That is the tough part about balancing personal and superhero life when everyone knows she is Spider-Woman.
SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY #3
This is an argument that many fans have had with Peter and MJ’s relationship. MJ bringing this up was a major reality check for Peter.
SPIDER-MAN: FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2019
We need to get more interactions between Peter and Miles. Whether it is teaming up and Peter mentoring Miles as Spider-Man. Or them just simply getting a bite to eat together.
