Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR franchise is set to go to an all new setting with its latest series scheduled to be released this November. The new series is titled BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide. The series will be written by acclaimed writer of the Monstress series Marjorie Liu with artist Garry Brown joining her for this series. Now ahead of its November release BOOM! Studios has provided us with an early look at BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide #1.
Taking on different settings is not new to the BRZRKR franchise. The Bleeding Tide #1 joins a long line in the franchise exploring different setting with B. as the lead. This latest setting may be the most challenging yet for B., as teased in the first issue solicitation:

When a pirate captain follows a strange heartbeat into the depths of the ocean, she finds a box chained in irons—and the deformed mass of the immortal warrior B. inside it. Now awakened, B. must jump into battle to defend the crew from an ambush at sea despite rising concerns. BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide #1 will arrive in stores with its main cover handled by series artist Garry Brown. Additionally, variant covers from artists Rebeca Puebla, Michael Dialynas, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Khary Randolph, and more will also be available on its release date.
