June 2025 Comic Book Sales Rankings

June 2025 Comic Book Sales Rankings

It is time to check out the June 2025 comic book sales rankings. Things are getting murkier in terms of actual unit numbers. So, we must settle for going to ICv2 for their Top 200 sales rankings. It is not as good as actual unit numbers, but we must work with what we get.

Keep in mind that the Top 200 sales rankings are based on sales tracked at point-of-sale by the ComicHub system at over 125 local comic book shops selling American comics. These sales rankings represent sales to consumers by local comic shops.

We all know that these ICv2 sales charts based on the ComicHub system are not the best. However, as long as publishers hide their sales statistics, this is the best that we have to go by. You do see that these sales charts give a rough sketch of the market because titles that get canceled correspond with low sales rankings in these ComicHub charts. I wish we had better data to analyze, but we have to make do with whatever data we have these days.

The data for the June 2025 comic book sales rankings was collected based on a four-week month, from June 1 to June 28, 2025.

You can go over to ICv2 and check out the Top 50 for June 2025 for free, or opt for a pro membership (It is well worth the money) and get the Top 200 for June 2025, and then come back here for a detailed analysis of the June 2025 comic book sales rankings!

June 2025 Top 200 Comic Book Sales Rankings

The Battle for the Top 10

Marvel Comics placed seven comics in the Top 10. Month-over-month sales increased from the five comics that Marvel Comics had in the Top 10 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up as Marvel Comics had six comics in the Top 10 in June 2024.

Numbers were flat compared to two years ago, as Marvel Comics had seven comics in the Top 10 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as Marvel Comics had six comics in the Top 10 in June 2022.

The rumors of Marvel Comics’ demise are vastly exaggerated. Marvel Comics reasserted its dominance in the Top 10 as it did better compared to last month, a year ago, and three years ago.

DC Comics placed three comics in the Top 10. Month-over-month sales were down from the four comics that DC Comics had in the Top 10 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up, as DC Comics had two comics in the Top 10 in June 2024.

Numbers were up from two years ago, as DC Comics had two comics in the Top 10 in June 2023.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as DC Comics had four comics in the Top 10 in June 2022.

Of course, all three DC Comics issues in the Top 10 were from the Absolute Universe franchise.

DC Comics dropped in the Top 10 compared to last month and was also down compared to June 2022. That is not great since back in 2022, we were all concerned about DC Comics’ poor performance in the sales chart.

Image Comics placed zero comics in the Top 10. Month-over-month sales were down from the one comic that Image Comics had in the Top 10 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as Image Comics had two comics in the Top 10 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as Image Comics had one comic in the Top 10 in June 2023.

Numbers were flat from three years ago, as Image Comics had zero comics in the Top 10 in June 2022.

Image Comics continues to find the Top 10 very rough going as the Habsro franchise titles have all cooled off.

The Battle for the Top 25

Based on historical numbers from the Comichron as well as projections through April 2022, the titles in the numbers 11-25 range typically sell in the 65,000 to 50,000 unit range.

Marvel Comics placed fifteen comics in the Top 25. Month-over-month sales were up from the thirteen comics that Marvel Comics had in the Top 25 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were flat, as Marvel Comics had fifteen comics in the Top 25 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as Marvel Comics had seventeen comics in the Top 25 in June 2023.

Numbers were flat from three years ago, as Marvel Comics had fifteen comics in the Top 25 in June 2022.

Marvel Comics continues to return to form in the Top 25. While numbers are down compared to June 2023, the fact that numbers are up compared to last month and flat compared to June 2024 and June 2022 shows that Marvel Comics is still going strong.

DC Comics placed eight comics in the Top 25. Month-over-month sales were down from the nine comics that DC Comics had in the Top 25 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up, as DC Comics had six comics in the Top 25 in June 2024.

Numbers were up from two years ago, as DC Comics had six comics in the Top 25 in June 2023.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as DC Comics had nine comics in the Top 25 in June 2022.

More mixed news for DC Comics. On the plus side, the numbers are up from June 2024 and June 2023. But the fact that numbers are down compared to last month is a worrying sign. Also, numbers being down from June 2022 are concerning, given that we thought DC Comics’ performance in the Top 25 in June 2022 was unimpressive.

Six of DC Comics’ seven issues in the Top 25 were from the Absolute Universe franchise. DC Comics would be cooked without this lucrative franchise. Absolute Universe is the gorgeous wallpaper covering up some serious structural issues with DC Comics’ house. The rest of DC Comics’ franchises are basically old 1990s Camaros parked without tires and on blocks next to a trailer.

Image Comics placed two comics in the Top 25. Month-over-month sales were down from the three comics that Image Comics had in the Top 25 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as Image Comics had three comics in the Top 25 in June 2024.

Numbers were flat from two years ago, as Image Comics had two comics in the Top 25 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as Image Comics had one comic in the Top 25 in June 2022.

Invincible Universe Battle Beast #2 dropped from the number 1 spot to the number 13 spot. I did not expect this title to be able to hang in the Top 10 with its second issue.

The Battle for the Top 50

Based on historical numbers from the Comichron as well as projections through April 2022, the titles in the numbers 26-50 range typically sell in the 49,000 to 30,000 unit range.

Marvel Comics placed thirty-one comics in the Top 50. Month-over-month sales were flat from the thirty-one comics that Marvel Comics had in the Top 50 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were flat, as Marvel Comics had thirty-one comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as Marvel Comics had thirty-three comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as Marvel Comics had twenty-eight comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

Things are looking good for Marvel Comics in the Top 50, as numbers are rock solid, and are where we expect to see from the publisher at this spot in the sales chart.

DC Comics placed twelve comics in the Top 50. Month-over-month sales were down from the fifteen comics that DC Comics had in the Top 50 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up, as DC Comics had eleven comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were up from two years ago, as DC Comics had eleven comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as DC Comics had fifteen comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

We get more bad news for DC Comics in the Top 50. Numbers are down by a wide margin compared to last month. DC Comics’ Top 50 sales success is directly tied to the Absolute Universe and Bruce Wayne’s titles performing strongly in the sales chart. Numbers were also down by a wide margin compared to June 2022. This is alarming considering that nobody was impressed with how DC Comics was performing in the Top 50 back in June 2022.

Image Comics placed four comics in the Top 50. Month-over-month sales were up from the three comics that Image Comics had in the Top 50 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were flat, as Image Comics had four comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were flat from two years ago, as Image Comics had four comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were flat from three years ago, as Image Comics had four comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

IDW Publishing placed two comics in the Top 50. Month-over-month sales were up from the zero comics that IDW Publishing had in the Top 50 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were flat, as IDW Publishing had two comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were flat from two years ago, as IDW Publishing had two comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as IDW Publishing had zero comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

As always, the two IDW Publishing comics in the Top 50 were from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. IDW Publishing is lucky to still have this lucrative franchise.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #9 fell from the number 27 spot to the number 40 spot.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Naruto #4 ticked up from the number 56 spot to the number 50 spot.

Keenspot Entertainment had one comic in the Top 50. Month-over-month sales were up/down/flat from the one comic that Keenspot Entertainment had in the Top 50 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up, as Keenspot Entertainment had zero comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were also up from two years ago, as Keenspot Entertainment had zero comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as Keenspot Entertainment had zero comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

Mark Spears Monsters #5 shot up from the number 89 spot to the number 45 spot. This title continues to be a surprise sales hit from such a tiny comic publisher.

The Battle for the Top 75

Based on historical numbers from the Comichron as well as projections through April 2022, the titles in the numbers 51-75 range typically sell in the 29,000 to 25,000 unit range.

Marvel Comics placed forty-three comics in the Top 75. Month-over-month sales were down from the forty-four comics that Marvel Comics had in the Top 75 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as Marvel Comics had forty-seven comics in the Top 75 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as Marvel Comics had forty-eight comics in the Top 75 in June 2023.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as Marvel Comics had forty-five comics in the Top 75 in June 2022.

The Top 75 is where we finally get some bad news for Marvel Comics. Sales are down across the board. Sales are down slightly from last month and three years ago. However, sales are down by a much wider margin compared to a year and two years ago. The Top 75 is where we see how the cooling off of the X-Men franchise and the Spider-Man franchise are impacting Marvel Comics sales.

DC Comics placed twenty-three comics in the Top 75. Month-over-month sales were up from the twenty-two comics that DC Comics had in the Top 75 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up, as DC Comics had fifteen comics in the Top 75 in June 2024.

Numbers were up from two years ago, as DC Comics had nineteen comics in the Top 75 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as DC Comics had eighteen comics in the Top 75 in June 2022.

The Top 75 continues to shake things up, as this is where we finally get the first bit of good news for DC Comics. Sales are up across the board and by a fairly wide margin. This is due to the power of the Absolute Universe, as eleven of DC Comics’ twenty-three comics in the Top 75 are from the Absolute Universe franchise.

Image Comics placed five comics in the Top 75. Month-over-month sales were flat from the five comics that Image Comics had in the Top 75 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as Image Comics had eight comics in the Top 75 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as Image Comics had six comics in the Top 75 in June 2023.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as Image Comics had seven comics in the Top 75 in June 2022.

The Top 75 delivers rough news for Image Comics as the publisher is off the pace compared to prior years.

IDW Publishing placed two comics in the Top 75. Month-over-month sales were up from the one comic that IDW Publishing had in the Top 75 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were flat, as IDW Publishing had two comics in the Top 75 in June 2024.

Numbers were flat from two years ago, as IDW Publishing had two comics in the Top 75 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as IDW Publishing had zero comics in the Top 75 in June 2022.

BOOM! Studios placed one comic in the Top 75. Month-over-month sales were flat from the one comic that BOOM! Studios had in the Top 75 in May 2025.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as Keenspot Entertainment had zero comics in the Top 75 in June 2022.

The Battle for the Top 100

The news gets better for Marvel Comics with the Top 100, as numbers are very stable. Marvel Comics Top 100 numbers are flat compared to a month ago, two years ago, and three years ago.

DC Comics placed thirty comics in the Top 100. Month-over-month sales were up from the twenty-nine comics that DC Comics had in the Top 100 in May 2025.

Year-over-year numbers were up, as DC Comics had eighteen comics in the Top 100 in June 2024.

The Spider-Man franchise took fifth place with two comics in the Top 10, two comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50.

One World Under Doom #5 fell from the number 9 spot to the number 15 spot. This is the lowest in the sales rankings that this Big Event has achieved to date. This has to be disappointing to Marvel Comics, which has come to expect its big event titles to be Top 5 sellers.

The One World Under Doom tie-in titles are all huge sales failures. This big event is having a rough time attracting much interest from readers outside of the main title.

Imperial

4 Imperial #1 (Marvel Comics)

Imperial #1 had a strong debut, taking the number 4 spot. That is no easy feat with the number of sales monsters from the Absolute Universe and Ultimate Universe that ruthlessly dominate the Top 10.

Hasbro Franchise

18 Transformers #21

51 GI Joe #8

Year-over-year numbers were worse as the Hasbro franchise had two comics in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Void Rivals #20 climbed from the number 107 spot to the number 87 spot.

GI Joe #8 climbed from the number 59 spot to the number 51 spot. This is the second consecutive month that GI Joe has sold outside of the Top 50. This title is a shadow of its former self when Image Comics rolled out their new GI Joe comic over a year ago. Is there a correlation between Image Comics foolishly trashing the Baroness’ iconic costume for a generic new one and its sales decline? Probably not. But, in my mind, that is what I like to think!

GI Joe: A Real American Hero #317 fell from the number 123 spot to the number 143 spot. This is where we normally find this title every month.

Spawn Franchise

Spawn Scorched #41 ticked up from the number 194 spot to the number 183 spot. This is the second straight month this title has climbed in the rankings.

Spawn Bloodletter #1 had a horrendous debut, barely even making the Top 200 and coming in at the number 199 spot. This five-issue mini-series is dead on arrival.

Deadly Tales of The Gunslinger Spawn #7 plummeted from the number 139 spot to the number 200 spot. This title has been in a sales freefall since its debut.

Gunslinger Spawn #44 was unranked for the second consecutive month.

Unranked: Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents #4

Unranked: Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #19

The Star Wars franchise had zero comics in the Top 50. This was worse than May 2025, when the Star Wars franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were flat, as the Star Wars franchise had zero comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were flat from two years ago, as the Star Wars franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were flat from three years ago, as the Star Wars franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and three comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

The Star Wars franchise continues to be a dumpster fire. This franchise is much like its sales history over the past year. Flat-lined.

Star Wars #2 crashed and burned, falling from the number 16 spot to the number 63 spot. Brutal. Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm have killed any fan interest in their products. I was not bullish on this title since Alex Segura is the writer, and he has never had any sales success. It should be alarming to Marvel Comics and Lucasfilm when even the historically popular Luke, Han, and Leia cannot sell units.

Star Wars: Jedi Knights #4 dipped from the number 91 spot to the number 82 spot.

Star Wars: Doctor Aphra – Chaos Agent #1 had an embarrassingly awful debut at the number 133 spot. This new ongoing is already a Dead Title Walking. This kind of debut usually leads to a title falling out of the Top 200 altogether in short order.

Once again, Marvel Comics editorial turned to another Hollywood writer/producer, Cherish Chen, to write a mainstream comic book. The results were predictably disastrous. I have no idea what led Marvel Comics editorial to believe Chen was qualified to helm a Star Wars comic book. I am also unsure what made Marvel Comics editorial think that there was any type of consumer demand for a Doctor Aphra comic book, given past sales failures. But here we are. Never try to understand the byzantine mind of a Marvel Comics editor.

Star Wars: The Legacy of Vader #5 dropped from the number 117 spot to the number 151 spot. Wow. What a dramatic drop for a title that debuted at the number 19 spot.

Star Wars: Jedi Knights #4 ticked down from the number 81 spot to the number 82 spot. Star Wars: Jedi Knights #5 then fell from the number 82 spot to the number 155 spot.

Star Wars: The High Republic – Fear of the Jedi #5 snuck back into the Top 200 and took the number 184 spot. This is roughly the same spot in the rankings that this title had in April 2025.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Adaptation #5 was unranked for the fourth straight month because nobody cares about this story.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents #4 was unranked for the third straight month.

Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures #19 was unranked, like it has been ever since its debut.

The Spider-Man franchise had two comics in the Top 10, two comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50. This was better in the Top 10 but worse in the Top 25 and Top 50 than May 2025, when the Spider-Man franchise had three comics in the Top 10, six comics in the Top 25, and eleven comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were up in the Top 10, flat in the Top 25, and up in the Top 50, as the Spider-Man franchise had three comics in the Top 10, four comics in the Top 25, and seven comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were up in the Top 10, down in the Top 25, and down in the Top 50 from two years ago, as the Spider-Man franchise had two comics in the Top 10, six comics in the Top 25, and eleven comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were flat in the Top 10 and Top 50 from three years ago, as the Spider-Man franchise had four comics in the Top 10, five comics in the Top 25, and eight comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

Let’s start with the star himself: Peter Parker.

Amazing Spider-Man #5 took the number 5 spot. Amazing Spider-Man #6 took the number 8 spot. Amazing Spider-Man #7 took the number 28 spot. That is rather impressive given that this title had three issues in this sales month instead of the customary two issues.

This was better than May 2025, when Amazing Spider-Man #3 took the number 6 spot, and Amazing Spider-Man #4 took the number 14 spot.

Giant-Size Amazing Spider-Man #1 had an average debut, taking the number 32 spot.

Predator vs. Spider-Man #3 dropped from the number 30 spot to the number 41 spot. This four-issue mini-series has a good shot of concluding next month in the Top 50.

Spider-Man & Wolverine #2 plummeted from the number 22 spot to the number 62 spot. I am not surprised that this title fell out of the Top 50 with just the second issue, given its debut number. But, at some point, the market can only support so many titles starring Wolverine and Spider-Man.

Let’s check out the knock-off Spider-Men.

Spider-Verse vs. Venomverse #2 crashed and burned, falling from the number 29 spot to the number 120 spot. Brutal. This five-issue mini-series looks doomed to be a dead title walking from this point forward. The Spider-Verse continues to struggle in the sales charts.

Miles Morales Spider-Man #34 plummeted from the number 96 spot to the number 140 spot. This ended the one-month stint in the Top 100. This is also roughly the same place in the rankings as Miles Morales: Spider-Man #32 took the number 148 spot in April 2024. Cody Ziglar continues to struggle to get readers interested in what he is offering on this title. A change in the writer’s position might be necessary.

Spider-Boy #20 clawed back into the Top 200 by taking the number 188 spot. This title continues to be a sales dud.

Let’s check out the Venomverse.

All-New Venom #7 fell from the number 32 spot to the number 64 spot. This was the first time this mantle-swap Venom has sold outside of the Top 50. All-New Venom #8 then fell to the number 122 spot. This is to be expected given this title shipped two issues in this sales chart. It will be interesting to see what kind of rebound this title can mount with the next issue.

Eddie Brock: Carnage #5 bounced up from the number 147 spot to the number 96 spot. This is not a great ranking, but it is a good sign to see this title have such a nice rebound this month.

Let’s wrap up with the ladies of the Spider-Man franchise.

Spider-Girl #1 had an awful debut at the number 54 spot. I had a feeling this was going to happen. Torunn Grønbekk is the writer, and she always struggles to have any sales success. On top of that, I am unsure if there was any consumer demand for an ongoing Makawalu Akana solo title.

Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider #14 fell from the number 122 spot to the number 131 spot. Spider-Gwen: The Ghost-Spider #15 then fell to the number 160 spot. Stephanie Phillips is doing what she does best: delivering a dead title walking.

Unranked: X-Men: Demons and Death #1

The X-Men franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and seven comics in the Top 50. This was worse than May 2025, when the X-Men franchise had one comic in the Top 10, five comics in the Top 25, and eleven comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as the X-Men franchise had two comics in the Top 10, five comics in the Top 25, and nine comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down in the Top 10 and Top 25, but up in the Top 50 from two years ago, as the X-Men franchise had one comic in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and six comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were up from three years ago, as the X-Men franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

The X-Men franchise is starting to cool off significantly compared to last month.

Let’s start with the three “flagship titles.”

X-Men #17 fell from the number 17 spot to the number 23 spot. X-Men #18 fell to the number 35 spot. X-Men #19 fell to the number 61 spot. This is the lowest we have seen X-Men in the rankings to date. Having said that, shipping three issues in this sales month is a heavy lift for any title. The big question is whether X-Men can rebound into the Top 25 with the next issue or not.

Uncanny X-Men #16 fell from the number 25 spot to the number 38 spot. This is the lowest spot in the sales rankings we have seen this title since its debut. This is also the sixth consecutive month that this title has sold outside of the Top 10. I am not that surprised that this iconic title is fading in the rankings. Gail Simone does not have a history of serving up titles that are consistent sales monsters.

Exceptional X-Men #10 ticked up from the number 94 spot to the number 85 spot. This title remains the dog of the three flagship titles.

Let’s take a look at the other team titles.

Giant-Size Dark Phoenix Saga #1 had an average debut at the number 34 spot.

Giant-Size Age of Apocalypse #1 also had an average debut at the number 43 spot.

X-Men: Hellfire Vigil #1 had a poor debut at the number 57 spot. This is not surprising given that this issue cost a whopping $7.99.

Weapon X-Men #5 fell from the number 135 spot to the number 152 spot. This was initially marketed as an ongoing title. However, Marvel Comics canceled this title and retroactively labeled it as a five-issue mini-series. Classic Marvel. At any rate, this title has now concluded. Weapon X-Men was a massive sales failure.

X-Men by Chris Claremont: Prelude To A Future Past #1 had a hideous debut at number 170.

X-Men: Demons and Death #1 had a brutally awful debut by failing to make the Top 200 and going unranked. There wasn’t much consumer demand for Alex Paknadel’s X-Men: From the Ashes #7-12 being collected for the first time in print.

Let’s hop over to the duo titles.

Deadpool/Wolverine #6 ticked up from the number 93 spot to the number 90 spot. This title continues to underperform, given the two big-name heroes it stars.

Wolverines & Deadpools #1 had an embarrassing debut at the number 136 spot. Cody Ziglar continues his streak of no sales success. I was not expecting there to be any consumer demand for this team-up of the classic characters and their mantle swap versions.

Wolverine and Kitty Pryde #3 ticked down from the number 192 spot to the number 198 spot. What a massive fall this title has had since its debut at the number 51 spot.

Let’s check out the dudes of the X-Men franchise.

Wolverine #10 dropped from the number 39 spot to the number 60 spot. Alarm bells should be going off at Marvel Comics. Last month was the first time Wolverine sold outside of the Top 25. This month is the first time that Wolverine has sold outside of the Top 50. This is a title that Marvel Comics wants to be a consistent Top 25 seller. It appears that Saladin Ahmed might be over his skis on this title. We shall see if this title can mount a rebound with the next issue.

Deadpool #15 dropped from the number 92 spot to the number 109 spot. This ended this title’s one-month reprieve from the Dead Titless Walking category. Despite Deadpool’s massive popularity, Cody Ziglar is struggling to deliver a story that interests readers.

Let’s wrap up with the ladies of the X-Men franchise.

Emma Frost: The White Queen #1 had an average debut at the number 36 spot. Amy Chu is the writer. She is a relative no-name who has written on comics like Red Sonja and Deja Thoris. That is how I have heard of her before. Marvel Comics is going to have to rely on Emma Frost’s popularity and sex appeal to bring readers to the table.

Speaking of sex appeal, this issue boasts four open order covers, two reprint covers, two incentive covers, six retailer-exclusive covers, and two event covers. Some of these covers are flat-out amazing! My personal favorites would be Joëlle Jones’ cover, Joshua Swaby’s cover, and Dan Panosian’s cover.

Magik #6 dipped from the number 41 spot to the number 44 spot. This title has begun to fade slightly as Magik #4 took the number 24 spot in April 2025. We shall see if Magik can remain in the Top 50 with the next issue.

Storm #9 dropped from the number 50 spot to the number 79 spot. This was a significant drop for this title and the first time Storm has sold outside of the Top 50 and the Top 75. It looks like the honeymoon might be over for this title.

Psylocke #8 fell from the number 52 spot to the number 98 spot. This title has cratered in the rankings since Psylocke #5 took the number 37 spot back in March 2025.

Laura Kinney: Wolverine #7 plummeted from the number 66 spot to the number 99 spot. Erica Schultz’s title is going to have to rally next issue to avoid becoming a Dead Title Walking.

Gwenpool #2 crashed and burned, falling from the number 27 spot to the number 100 spot. Only a Marvel Comics editor would be surprised by this title completely dying in the sales rankings. There was no consumer demand for a Gwenpool title. And Cavan Scott’ being hired’s hiring as the writer sank any chances this title might have had for success. Scott always fails in the sales rankings.

Phoenix #12 plummeted from the number 72 spot to the number 113 spot. Again, nobody outside of Marvel Comics is surprised by this. Any comic book written by Stephanie Phillips is going to become a Dead Title Walking quickly.

Avengers Franchise

27 Aliens vs. Avengers #4

33 Godzilla vs. Thor #1

106 Iron Man #9

132 Vision & the Scarlet Witch #2

146 West Coast Avengers #8

192 Superior Avengers #3 (Doom)

195 Avengers #26 (Doom)  (Resolicitation)

Unranked: Avengers Academy: Assemble #1

The Avengers franchise had one comic in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50. This was better than May 2025, when the Avengers franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and three comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were flat in the Top 10 and Top 50, as the Avengers franchise had one comic in the Top 10, two comics in the Top 25, and six comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as the Avengers franchise had two comics in the Top 10, four comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were flat in the Top 10 and Top 25, but up in the Top 50 from three years ago, as the Avengers franchise had one comic in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

New Avengers #1 had an okay debut at the number 20 spot. I am not bullish at all on this title. Stan Humphries is the writer, and he lacks a pedigree of proven sales hits. Further, the roster for this team is bizarre and not in a good way. I am unsure of the consumer demand for this comic.

Aliens vs. Avengers #4 ticked down from the number 17 spot to the number 27 spot. It is nothing short of phenomenal how well this title is performing, given its horrendous shipping schedule. Not even a massive four-month gap in the shipping schedule could derail this title’s sales success. If this title had been able to retain a normal shipping schedule, then it probably would not have dropped out of the Top 25.

Godzilla vs. Avengers #1 had a solid debut at the number 16 spot.

Avengers #27 climbed from the number 89 spot to the number 74 spot. Avengers #28 then fell to the number 105 spot. This title is not a strong enough seller to support two issues in one sales month. It is a positive sign that this title managed to claw back into the Top 75 with the first issue shipped in June 2025. But this title is normally a Top 50 seller, so it still has more ground to cover to return to its former status.

West Coast Avengers #8 plummeted from the number 64 spot to the number 146 spot. Wow. That dramatically ended this title’s one-month stint outside of the Dead Titles Walking category.

Superior Avengers #3 crashed and burned, falling from the number 98 spot to the number 192 spot. What a spectacular free-fall in the rankings for a title that debuted in April 2025 at the number 41 spot. Put this six-issue limited series in the dirt because it is already dead. This is no surprise given the weak roster of characters for this title.

Avengers Academy: Assemble #1 had an awful debut, failing to make the Top 200 and going unranked. This issue collected for the first time in print the Infinity Series Avengers Academy digital comic. Perhaps this should have stayed a digital-only comic.

Captain America #1 had a nice debut at the number 10 spot. This issue was supported by seven open order covers, two reprint covers, and six incentive covers. We shall see if Chip Zdarsky can make this title a sales monster in the upcoming months.

Godzilla vs. Thor #1 had an okay debut at the number 33 spot.

Immortal Thor #24 fell from the number 53 spot to the number 65 spot. Immortal Thor #25 then fell to the number 117 spot. We shall see what kind of rebound this title can mount with the next issue.

Incredible Hulk #26 plummeted from the number 37 spot to the number 95 spot. Wow! That is a monstrous drop that I did not see coming. I have to think this title is going to mount a comeback next month rather than fall out of the Top 100.

Iron Man #9 cratered, falling from the number 78 spot to the number 106 spot. I fully expected this title to end up in the Dead Titles Walking category. Hiring a political activist and journalist to write a mainstream superhero comic book was always a dumb idea.

Vision & the Scarlet Witch #2 fell like a dead duck dropping from the number 48 spot to the number 132 spot. I mean, nobody outside of Marvel Comics can be surprised by this, right? We all knew this was going to happen once it was revealed that Stev Orlando would be the writer. Orlando has never had a sales success and has already had two consecutive Scarlet Witch titles canceled.

Fantastic Four Franchise

59 Fantastic Four #33 (Doom)

153 Fantastic Four Fanfare #2

171 Doom Academy #5 (Doom)

176 The Thing #2

186 Fantastic Four Facsimile Edition #49

Unranked: Doom’s Division #4

The Fantastic Four franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and three comics in the Top 50. This was better/worse/flat than May 2025, when the Fantastic Four franchise had one comic in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and two comics in the Top 50.

Fantastic Four #33 fell from the number 34 spot to the number 59 spot. This is brutal. This title is usually a lock for the Top 50. To see Fantastic Four drop out of the Top 50 during the One World Under Doom is daming commentary on that big event.

Fantastic Four Fanfare #2 crashed and burned, falling from the number 69 spot to the number 153 spot. This is not a surprise given the soft sales debut number this title had last month.

Death of the Silver Surfer #1 had a nice debut at the number 14 spot. Glad to see Marvel Comics continuing their weird trend of killing characters at the same time that they are about to appear in an MCU movie. Never question the logic of Marvel Comics editorial.

Bring on the Bad Guys: Doom #1 had a solid debut at the number 22 spot.

Doom Academy #5 fell from the number 131 spot to the number to the number 171 spot. With this issue, this five-issue mini-series has concluded. Doom Academy was a sales failure.

Doom’s Division #4 fell from the number 185 and out of the Top 200 to end up unranked. This five-issue mini-series is going to struggle to conclude ranked in the Top 200.

The Thing #2 plummeted from the number 82 spot to the number 176 spot. Brutal. This five-issue mini-series is going to have a tough time concluding ranked in the Top 200.

The Ultimate Universe

2 Ultimate Spider-Man Incursion #1

6 Ultimate Wolverine #6

7 Ultimate Spider-Man #18

26 Ultimate Wolverine #7

31 Ultimates #13

37 Ultimate Spider-Man #17 (Resolictiation)

49 Ultimate X-Men #16

75 Ultimate Black Panther #17

The Ultimate Universe had three comics in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and seven comics in the Top 50. This was worse in the Top 10 and Top 25, but better in the Top 50 than in May 2025, when the Ultimate Universe had two comics in the Top 10, four comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were flat in the Top 10, down in the Top 25, and up in the Top 50, as the Ultimate Universe had three comics in the Top 10, four comics in the Top 25, and five comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Ultimate Spider-Man Incursion #1 had a monster debut, taking the number 2 spot. Big Event story + Ultimate Universe franchise = $$$$. That is a tough formula to beat.

Ultimate Spider-Man #18 climbed from the number 15 spot to the number 7 spot. This ended this title’s one-month tour outside of the Top 10.

Ultimate Wolverine #6 dipped from the number 4 spot to the number 6 spot. Ultimate Wolverine #7 then dropped to the number 26 spot. This is to be expected given that this title shipped two issues this sales month. There is no doubt that this title will be back in the Top 10 with the next issue.

Ultimates #13 fell from the number 24 spot to the number 31 spot. This is the third consecutive month that this title has fallen in the rankings. This is also the first time Ultimates has sold outside of the Top 25. It looks like Deniz Camp’s title is starting to fade in the sales rankings.

Ultimate X-Men #16 fell from the number 31 spot to the number 49 spot.

Ultimate Black Panther #17 fell from the number 61 spot to the number 75 spot. This is the lowest we have seen this title in the sales rankings.

194 Batman #9 Facsimile Edition

Unranked: Batman ’89: Echoes #6

Unranked: Batgirl #9

Unranked: Birds of Prey #23

Unranked: Harley Quinn #52

The Batman franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50. This was worse than May 2025, when the Batman franchise had one comic in the Top 10, two comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as the Batman franchise had two comics in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and six comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as the Batman franchise had one comic in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as the Batman franchise had three comics in the Top 10, seven comics in the Top 25, and ten comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

Let’s begin with the star of the show: Bruce Wayne.

Detective Comics #1098 fell from the number 55 spot to the number 70 spot. This is the second consecutive month this title has sold outside of the Top 50. This is also lower than the number 52 ranking Detective Comics had before Tom Taylor took over the title.

Robin & Batman Jason Todd #1 had a bad debut at the number 58 spot. It looks like this three-issue limited series from Jeff Lemire is going to have a rough go of it in the sales rankings.

Batman Superman World’s Finest #40 plummeted from the number 47 spot to the number 84 spot. Oof. I did not see this huge drop coming! This is a title that used to be a consistent Top 50 seller. We shall see if this title can rebound with the next issue.

Batman and Robin Year One #8 fell from the number 76 spot to the number 91 spot. This twelve-issue mini-series looks to be on course to fall out of the Top 100 before it concludes.

Batman Dark Patterns #7 fell from the number 88 spot to the number 104 spot. This twelve-issue mini-series is now officially a Dead Title Walking. Perhaps this title can rebound with the next issue.

Batman and Robin #22 fell from the number 127 spot to the number 149 spot. This title has now been in the Dead Titles Walking category for three of the past four months.

Batman ’89: Echoes #6 fell from the number 151 spot and out of the Top 200 to end up unranked. This is not a surprise given the awful shipping schedule. Batman ’89 #5 shipped way back in December 2024. In the end, this six-issue limited series was a sales failure.

Let’s hop over to the lone Bat-Boy title.

Nightwing #127 ticked up from the number 108 spot to the number 107 spot. This is the second consecutive month that Nightwing has been in the Dead Titles Walking category.

Let’s wrap up with the ladies of the Batman franchise.

Poison Ivy #34 dropped from the number 109 spot to the number 115 spot. This is the second consecutive month that this title has been in the Dead Titles Walking category.

Batgirl #8 plummeted from the number 80 spot to the number 126 spot. Batgirl #9 then fell out of the Top 200 and was unranked. This title should be able to get back in the Top 200 with the next issue, but I think Batgirl will be stuck in the Dead Titles Walking category from now on.

Birds of Prey #22 fell from the number 140 spot to the number 156 spot. Birds of Prey #23 then fell out of the Top 200 and was unranked. Birds of Prey has been in the Dead Titles Walking category for four of the past six months. I do not see this title escaping the Dead Titles Walking category going forward. This is what we normally get from a Kelly Thompson title outside of Absolute Wonder Woman.

Gotham City Sirens Unfit for Orbit #1 had a brutally awful debut at the number 172 spot. Everyone other than a DC Comics editor saw this coming from a mile away. Leah Williams is the writer, and every mainstream superhero comic she writes ends up in the Dead Tiles Walking category or unranked. This five-issue mini-series will be no exception. Why does Williams keep getting hired? Who knows. She must have compromising pictures of somebody high up at DC Comics.

Catwoman #77 fell from the number 179 spot to the number 187 spot. Incredible. I did not think anyone could do as poorly as Tini Howard on this title. Take a bow, Torun Gronbekk! You know, it would be great if DC Comics would finally hire a real superhero writer to helm Catwoman’s comic book.

Harley Quinn #52 was unranked for the second consecutive month. Hiring a TV writer to write this comic was a stupid idea at the start, and has only been proven to be idiotic with each subsequent month. I am stunned that this title is performing as poorly as it did under Tini Howard. Look, we all know that DC Comics completely lost the plot with Harley Quinn years ago. It is just a shame to see what was once a popular character, who had strong sales numbers, become a pathetic shadow of herself.

The Superman franchise had zero comics in the Top 50. This was worse than May 2025, when the Superman franchise had one comic in the Top 10, three comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as the Superman franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, zero comics in the Top 25, and two comics in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from three years ago, as the Superman franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50 in June 2022.

The Superman franchise is a total mess at the moment. The fact that not a single Superman franchise title is in the Top 50 is unacceptable. DC Comics should be embarrassed. And do not look for the Superman movie to lead to an increase in comic sales. That myth was put in the dirt years ago.

Superman Unlimited #2 plummeted from the number 18 spot to the number 69 spot. Welp. So much for that title becoming a constant Top 25 or Top 50 seller. Clearly, many readers were not impressed with what Dan Slott delivered in the debut issue.

Superman #27 climbed from the number 97 spot to the number 76 spot. This title has now sold outside of the Top 50 in six of the past seven issues. DC Comics should be embarrassed.

Action Comics #1087 climbed from the number 113 spot to the number 80 spot. It is good news that this title pulled itself out of the Dead Titles Walking category. But, this is way too low in the sales charts for this iconic title.

Krypto: The Last Dog of Krypton #1 had an unimpressive debut at the number 55 spot. I would imagine that this five-issue mini-series will be out of the Top 75 with the next issue.

Supergirl #2 dropped like a rock from the number 19 spot to the number 56 spot. We all knew this title was going to flame out quickly once we learned that Sophie Campbell was the writer. Campbell has never had any sales success. This is just another example of hiring an unqualified writer and getting predictable bad sales results. DC Comics will never learn as long as they keep the same editors in charge.

The Justice League franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, zero comics in the Top 25, and two comics in the Top 50. This was flat in the Top 10, down in the Top 25, and up in the Top 50 compared to May 2025, when the Justice League franchise had zero comics in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50.

Numbers were down in the Top 10 and Top 25, but flat in the Top 50 from three years ago, as the Justice League franchise had one comic in the Top 10, one comic in the Top 25, and two comics in the Top 50 in June 2022.

Let’s start with the team titles.

Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong 2 #1 had an ordinary debut at the number 30 spot. This is decidedly less impressive than the first volume of Justice League vs Godzilla vs. Kong, which had a monstrous debut at the number 6 spot in October 2023. Justice League vs Godzilla vs Kong 2 #2 then crashed and burned, falling to the number 141 spot. This seven-issue mini-series does not appear to have the same sales power as the first volume.

Justice League Unlimited #8 ticked down from the number 46 spot to the number 48 spot. This is the second straight month this title has sold outside of the Top 25. It appears that those days are behind this title.

Justice League: The Atom Project #6 fell from the number 182 spot and out of the Top 200 to go unranked. This is the second month in the past three months that this title was unranked. With this issue, this six-issue mini-series has concluded. Justice League: The Atom Project was a total sales failure.

JSA #8 fell from the number 118 spot to the number 129 spot. JSA #9 then fell out of the Top 200 and was unranked. This title should climb back into the Top 200 with the next issue, but I fear that the JSA is doomed to stalk the Dead Titles Walking category from now on. The roster for this title is just too weak to generate much consumer interest.

Secret Six #4 fell from the number 193 spot and out of the Top 200 to go unranked. Secret Six #5 was also unranked. Secret Six has now been unranked for four of its six issues. The two issues where it was ranked were at the number 90 spot and the number 193 spot.

What an unmitigated disaster. And all of it was predictable once DC Comics announced that Nicole Maines was going to be the writer. It is mind-boggling what standard DC Comics editorial is using when it comes to hiring writers. What I do know is that it has nothing to do with being qualified or talented.

Let’s hop over to the dudes of the Justice League.

Aquaman #6 fell from the number 119 spot to the number 138 spot. This is brutal. This is a comic that was at the number 79 spot just two issues ago. There is no excuse for DC Comics not to be able to make Aquaman a Top 75 seller. This is just another case of DC Comics doing next to nothing with all of their characters outside of the Absolute Universe and Bruce Wayne.

Green Arrow #25 managed to sneak back into the Top 200 and take the number 181 spot. DC Comics should be embarrassed by how poorly the Green Arrow franchise is performing.

Mr Terrific Year One #2 fell like a dead duck from the number 130 spot to the number 196 spot. This six-issue mini-series looks like it is going to be unranked by the next issue. DC Comics’ editorial hiring a podcaster and radio host to write a mainstream superhero comic is leading to its predictable sales embarrassment.

Flash #22 went unranked for the second consecutive month. Flash has not been unranked in three of the past four issues. This is beyond embarrassing and completely unacceptable. This is complete editorial malpractice. Simon Spurrier announced that he is voluntarily leaving Flash with issue #25. It should not have even come to this. DC Comics should have fired him months ago.

DC Comics has so badly broken a franchise that used to be a strong seller. First, DC Comics needs to bring back Barry Allen ASAP. This decision to go with Wally West and his family has not interested the consumer at all. Second, DC Comics needs to hire a writer who has talent and is suited for a mainstream superhero comic book.

Let’s take a peek at the Green Lantern titles.

Green Lantern #24 ticked up from the number 148 spot to the number 144 spot. Again, we have another once-proud franchise with a history of strong sales numbers lying in ruins.

Green Lantern Corps #5 dropped from the number 111 spot to the number 147 spot. This is the second consecutive month this title has been in the Dead Titles Walking category.

Green Lantern: Dark #5 fell from the number 156 spot and out of the Top 200 to end up unranked. This seven-issue mini-series from Tate Brombal is going to struggle to conclude ranked in the Top 200.

Let’s wrap up with the ladies of the Justice League.

Zatanna #5 dipped from the number 62 spot to the number 67 spot. This six-issue mini-series still has a shot of concluding in the Top 75.

Trinity Daughter of Wonder Woman #1 had a disastrous debut at the number 78 spot. Nobody outside of Tom King cares about this character. With Donna Troy, Cassie Sandmark, and Yara Flor, was there anyone at all clamoring for yet another Wonder Girl? Nobody is more obsessed with derivative characters than DC Comics. At any rate, this six-issue mini-series looks like it is doomed to be a Dead Title Walking with the next issue or two.

Wonder Woman #22 fell from the number 71 spot to the number 99 spot. Yikes. This is the lowest we have seen Wonder Woman since this title got restarted almost two years ago. It looks like Tom King is starting to run off readers. It might be time to look at a creative team change if this trend continues.

Fire & Ice: When Hell Freezes Over #3 was unranked for the second consecutive month. This title has been an unmitigated sales disaster. How does Joanne Starer continue to find gainful employment at DC Comics?

The Absolute Universe

108 Absolute Flash #3 (Resolicitation)

110 Absolute Wonder Woman #1 (Resolicitation)

116 Absolute Superman #1 (Resolicitation)

189 Absolute Batman #7 (Resolicitation)

The Absolute Universe had three comics in the Top 10, six comics in the Top 25, and seven comics in the Top 50. This was worse in the Top 10, flat in the Top 25, and down in the Top 50 than in May 2025, when the Absolute Universe had four comics in the Top 10, six comics in the Top 25, and eight comics in the Top 50.

Absolute Batman #9 ticked up from the number 2 spot to the number 1 spot. The combination of Bruce Wayne and the Absolute Universe is unstoppable.

Absolute Superman #8 held steady at the number 3 spot, which was the same spot it had in May 2025.

Absolute Wonder Woman #9 rebounded from the number 21 spot to the number 9 spot. This ended the one-month run of this title outside of the Top 10.

Absolute Flash #4 ticked down from the number 10 spot to the number 11 spot. This is the first time that this title has sold outside of the Top 10. It looks like this five-issue mini-series may not be able to conclude in the Top 10 next month.

Absolute Green Lantern #3 fell from the number 5 spot to the number 12 spot. This is the first time this title has sold outside of the Top 10. Absolute Green Lantern #4 then fell to the number 53 spot. I fully expect to see this five-issue mini-series back in the Top 25 with the next issue.

Absolute Martian Manhunter #4 ticked up from the number 23 spot to the number 17 spot. This six-issue mini-series has been the “weakest” of all the Absolute Universe titles. It is pretty amazing when your weakest-selling title is at the number 17 spot!

Supernatural Comics

81 Ghost Rider Vs. Galactus #1 (Marvel Comics)

88 Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #9 (Marvel Comics)

103 Hellverine #7 (Marvel Comics)

169 Hellverine #8 (Marvel Comics)

Unranked: Resurrection Man: Quantum Karma #3

Unranked: Resurrection Man: Quantum Karma #4

Marvel Comics beat DC Comics by a score of 2-0 in the Top 100. It’s not a great time in the sales charts for supernatural comic books.

Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #9 fell from the number 42 spot to the number 88 spot. This is the lowest this title has sold in the rankings since Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #4 took the number 87 spot in January 2025.

Hellverine #7 fell from the number 74 spot to the number 103 spot. This ended the one-month reprieve from the Dead Titles Walking category. Hellverine #8 then fell to the number 169 spot.

Doctor Strange of Asgard #4 dipped from the number 106 spot to the number 111 spot. This five-issue mini-series looks like it is going to conclude in the Dead Titles Walking category.

DC Vs Vampires World War V #10 fell from the number 145 spot to the number 158 spot. This twelve-issue mini-series is doomed to stalk the Dead Titles Walking category.

Resurrection Man: Quantum Karma #3 fell from the number 183 spot and out of the Top 200 to go unranked. Resurrection Man: Quantum Karma #4 was also unranked. Ram V’s title has now been unranked for three of its four issues.

Cosmic Comics

4 Imperial #1 (Marvel Comics)

27 Aliens vs. Avengers #4 (Marvel Comics)

93 New Gods #7 (Of 12) (DC Comics)

177 Predator Vs. Spider-Man #1 (Marvel Comics) (Resolicitation)

Marvel Comics beat DC Comics by a score of 2-1 in the Top 100.

New Gods #7 dropped from the number 70 spot to the number 93 spot. This title has cooled off quickly from when New Gods #5 took the number 44 spot in April 2025.

Legacy Character Comics

54 Spider-Girl #1 (Marvel Comics)

56 Supergirl #2 (DC Comics)

58 Robin & Batman Jason Todd #1 (Of 3)

There were zero legacy character comics in the Top 50. This was worse than May 2025, when there was one legacy character comic in the Top 10, two comics in the Top 25, and two comics in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as there were zero legacy character comics in the Top 10, zero comics in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as there was one legacy character comic in the Top 10, four comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

Runaways #1 had a terrible debut at the number 86 spot. We all knew this five-issue mini-series was toast on a stick once it was announced that Rainbow Rowell was going to be the writer. Rowell has never had any sales success. This title should be in the Dead Titles Walking category with the next issue.

Titans #24 climbed from the number 152 spot to the number 139 spot. This title is forever trapped in the Dead Titles Walking category. What a shame.

New Champions #6 was unranked for the second consecutive month. This title has been an utter sales failure.

Mantle Swap Comics

64 All-New Venom #7 (Marvel Comics)

96 Eddie Brock: Carnage #5 (Marvel Comics)

99 Laura Kinney: Wolverine #7 (Marvel Comics)

122 All-New Venom #8 (Marvel Comics)

126 Batgirl #8 (DC Comics)

136 Wolverines & Deadpools #1 (Marvel Comics)

140 Miles Morales Spider-Man #34 (Marvel Comics)

There were zero mantle swap comics in the Top 50. This was worse than May 2025, when there were zero mantle swap comics in the Top 10, zero comics in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50.

Year-over-year numbers were down, as there were zero mantle swap comics in the Top 10, zero comics in the Top 25, and one comic in the Top 50 in June 2024.

Numbers were down from two years ago, as there was one mantle swap comic in the Top 10, two comics in the Top 25, and four comics in the Top 50 in June 2023.

The mantle swap approach to comics remains a sales loser. Not that this will stop Marvel Comics or DC Comics anytime soon.
