Hats off to the Spidey team. They have me interested in Spider-Man again. The secret origin of Menace is a very good story.
After reading this issue, some of the mysteries in Spider-Man make sense. It does answer the questions surrounding Menace (who has been around for 40 issues now). I like the explanation of how this character became the villain they are today. I am trying not to say who the character is for the sake of those who have not read the previous issue yet. Unlike many storylines, this one does make sense. I am looking forward to the next part to see the impact of the final page. It should be exciting.
The art team of Kitson and Kessel turned in a fine job. Kessel does a good job of complimenting Kitson’s pencils.
Recommended. I am looking forward to the next part of this story.

Wait – Kitson and Kessel?
John Romita Jr. needed a fill-in?
That’s really surprising.
