Find out what made my list of the ten best comic books released in November 2025.
ABSOLUTE BATMAN #14

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Scott Snyder
Artist: Nick Dragotta
Colorist: Frank Martin
Letterer: Clayton Cowles
Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta did not hold back in ensuring that Absolute Batman’s “Abomination” story arc had a memorable ending. They accomplish this by making you always wondering where exactly the story will go next. There is so much that goes on that you really are left wondering the entire time the lengths Bruce Wayne will go to defeat Absolute Bane. It certainly gets over the major threat that Absolute Bane that you believe Bruce has to take the most extreme measures to win. This made the ultimate result a bigger reward as we see the true fortitude and moral of Absolute Batman shine through.
ABSOLUTE WONDER WOMAN #14

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Kelly Thompson
Artist: Matias Bergara
Colorist: Jordie Bellaire
Letterer: Becca Carey
Having shorter story arcs in between big ones do so much for an ongoing series. That is proven by how Absolute Wonder Woman #14 concludes the two-part “The Price” story arc. Kelly Thompson continued to show through this short arc how Wonder Woman continues to overcome every challenge she faces. But unlike previous ones we are starting to see the weight of these challenges catching up to Diana. Matias Bergara does a wonderful job at showing how Diana processes the latest challenges she faced. That along with what she learns alongside her supporting cast continues to show why this is one of the best comic books out right now.
ASSORTED CRISIS EVENTS #6

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Deniz Camp
Artist: Eric Zawadzki
Colorist: Jordie Bellaire
Letterer: Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou
Assorted Crisis Events #6 is the most emotionally intense comic book I read in the month of November. Deniz Camp and Eric Zawadzki take you on such a ride with the cast of characters in this comic book that you feel drained after reading it. Not drained in the sense of being exhausted. Rather you feel like you really need to process everything that happened as Camp explored so many emotional the cast has to experience. By processing you don’t feel it would be right to just move to the next comic book on your pull list. Add in the stellar artwork by Zawadzki and it was tough to read the next comic waiting to be picked up on my pull list. It had that type of impact that drives home why this series is a strong contender for comic book of the year in 2026.
BLOOD & THUNDER #7

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Benito Cereno
Artist: E.J. Su
Colorist: Msassyk
Letterer: Rus Wooton
Blood & Thunder #7 is the best issue of this series so far. That is saying a lot given how entertaining this series by Benito Cereno and E.J. Su. Seeing how adaptable of a character Blood is as she is taken out of the cyberpunk setting into a wilderness setting was cool to see. She shows she can make any environment she is in a weapon to take down who ever comes after her. That’s takes a story where Blood is the hunted and quickly turns her into the hunter when she maximizes her environment against the mercenaries coming after her. All the action was enough to make this a great issue. The character development Blood and other characters get in this issue just take this to another level. It all further builds up your investment into seeing where the story will go next.
G.I. JOE #14

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Joshua Williamson
Artist: Tom Reilly
Colorist: Jordie Bellaire
Letterer: Rus Wooton
G.I. JOE #14 takes how the “Dreadnok War” started and takes things to another level. Duke and Cobra Commander are not given any time to process having to work together. That is thanks to the Dreadnoks coming after them in a Mad Max: Fury Road-style way. Everything with this main story is constantly moving that as the reader you feel that “along for the ride” feel. Because of the fast-paced action it makes the moves that we see Destro make be even more important. Destro’s moves make the Dreadnok’s presence even more important as they kick many things that were building in the shadows into motion. That leads to not just being in the moment of what this story is doing but also leaves you thinking what will come after this.
MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES III #3

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Ryan Parrott
Artist: Vincenzo Federico
Colorist: Raul Angulo
Letterer: Ed Dukeshire
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #3 keeps up the momentum by giving us a comic book that is non-stop action. At this point in the crossover between the Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles this exactly what it should be. Especially given the stakes created by Lord Zedd and Shredder’s actions directly leading to Splinter’s death. That is all the motivation needed to understand why we would be in a place with this crossover where both sides would be fighting it out. This plays well into Ryan Parrott and Vincenzo Federico’s strengths to be able to manage so much and keep things clear. The choreography is on point so that you are always aware of the story that’s unfolding. That leads to some cool developments to move the event to its next stage in an exciting way.
NOVA: CENTURION #1

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Jed MacKay
Artist: Alvaro Lopez
Colorist: Mattia Iacono
Letterer: Cory Petit
Nova: Centurion #1 is a fantastic example of what a comic book should do with their debut issue. Jed MacKay and Alvaro Lopez welcome readers both new and those who read Imperial into the cosmic world this series is set in. That welcoming nature is shown as soon as you open this issue as we see Nova saving a space crew from being sucked into a black hole. This opening gets over how powerful Richard Rider is and the new limitations to his Nova powers due to his decisions in the Imperial event. The results of the opening impact the direction we see Richard go and how he interacts with everyone in this issue. And most important we see how the new status quo has impacted how everyone interacts with Nova. That’s all you can ask for from a successful debut for a new comic book series.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES X GODZILLA #1

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Tim Seeley
Artist: Fero Pe
Colorist: Luis Antonio Delcado
Letterer: Brian Kolek
With how many crossovers the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Godzilla have been involved it created an extra layer of intrigue of how the franchises crossing over with each other would go down. To Tim Seeley and Fero Pe’s credit they find a way to make Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 stand out with their approach. By making it so the kaijus have always existed in this universe it made the way the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles factor done in a natural way. The way the world’s history with kaiju is treated is well done to add its own take on Godzilla’s mythology. Mixing different versions of the Ninja Turtles is also well done to create this version of the characters that fit well with this kaiju universe.
TRANSFORMERS #26

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Robert Kirkman
Artist: Dan Mora
Colorist: Mike Spicer
Letterer: Rus Wooton
Robert Kirkman and Dan Mora follow-up their successful debut with an even stronger second chapter in their creative run with Transformers #26. They continue to get over how game changing of a results the most recent Autobot vs Decepticon battle was. The results ended up blurring the lines on both sides of this war. That goes for both all the Transformers on Earth and Cybertron. It creates many wild cards in this new status quo for the Autobots and Decepticons. That being a result of the decisions made by both Optimus Prime and Megatron further drive home why they are so important to this franchise.
ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #11

CREATIVE TEAM
Writer: Chris Condon
Artist: Alessandro Cappuccio
Coloring: Bryan Valenza
Letterer: Cory Petit
Ultimate Wolverine #11 is shockingly impactful comic book. What goes down in this issue leaves you shocked that it happened. That was accomplished because you feel the desperation Wolverine has after Colossus launched a nuke-like bomb at The Opposition. Wolverine literally does everything he can to stop the bomb, including piloting a Sentinel. Seeing that made the impact of the inevitable as the main members of The Opposition were seemingly wiped out created a powerful final image for this issue. It makes this possibly the most important single issue going into Ultimate Endgame because a major rebel group was taken out before The Maker’s return.
