This series has struggled since day one. If this book came without a cover, I would have thought it was an issue of Batgirl. The other Outsiders don’t even make an appearance. The fight between Batgirl and Nightwing is unnecessary. They have been together enough to sit down and discuss their differences. They don’t need to resolve everything by fighting.

The art is ok but not anything special. Benjamin’s work looks scratchy. At times, the faces look out of proportion.

Tieri’s story is confusing. The only part that is well written is the story about the Riddler. Tieri seems to understand Riddler better than he understands the Outsiders. Except for the scenes with the Riddler, I was not impressed.

The good news is Peter Tomasi is taking over as writer starting next month. If anyone can return this to being a quality book, it is him.

Not recommended.
