Part 4 of 5 continues the high quality set by this fantastic mini-series. The epic story of Cain (yes, the one from the Bible) has been one of the best mini-series on the market today.
The Spectre is basically out of action in this issue. The storyline focuses on the Question, the Huntress, and Mercy. When the Spectre was still opposing Cain, it seemed like our heroes stood a chance of winning the battle. Now, Rucka has you believing that they can loose.
Tan’s artwork continues to deliver. He is excelling on the spectacular shots and the character moments. DC is crazy if they don’t lock him up in a contract. If the Spectre gets his own series, I would love to see the Rucka/Tan team on the book.
Pick up the entire mini-series. Highly recommended.
