Comic Book Reviews 11/12/25: Batman #162BATMAN #162

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Jeph Loeb

Artist: Jim Lee

Inking: Richard Starkings

Coloring: Alex Sinclair

Letterer: Tyler Smith

Batman #162 is easily the best chapter of H2SH thus. That is not saying a lot but given how H2SH has gone so far that is a massive improvement. There is still a lot of problems with how Jeph Loeb writes many characters and all the Hush plot points. But at the very least he gets how to write the Bat-Cat connection to address what is going on with Bruce wayne in this story. That saves this issue so much. It is just unfortunate that Catwoman isn’t a bigger part of this sequel to Hush. Click here to read the full review.

Overall Rating: 6.5 Night Girls out of 10

Comic Book Reviews 11/12/25: Batman/Static: Beyond #1BATMAN/STATIC: BEYOND #1

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Evan Narcisse

Artist: Nikolas Draper-Ivey

Colorist: Wil Quintana

Letterer: Wes Abbott

Batman/Static: Beyond #1 hits on all the notes fans could want from this comic. This comic is at its best when doing its own thing as an Elseworld comic with a focus on Batman Beyond and Static. There is a lot of kick ass action with the opening showing the Justice League Unlimited creating immediate excitement for this story. It is only when the focus is on Terry McGinnis’ teenage adventures that Evan Narcisse and Nikolas Draper-Ivey run into trying to be too much like the animated series. Hopefully future issues focus on the strengths seeing Batman Beyond and Static teaming up and letting their chemistry shine as it did when we got that in this issue.

Overall Rating: 7 Night Girls out of 10

Comic Book Reviews 11/12/25: Blood & Thunder #7BLOOD & THUNDER #7

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Benio Cereno

Artist: E.J. Su

Colorist: Msassyk

Letterer: Rus Wooton

Blood & Thunder #7 does an excellent job showing that our title characters can be badass in any setting. It does not take long for Blood to turn the snowy wilderness, setting she is in to her advantage against other mercenaries that come after her. This along with some emotional character moment show why Blood is a compelling lead that you are looking forward to seeing her overcome everything thrown her way.

Overall Rating: 9 Night Girls out of 10

Comic Book Reviews 11/12/25: Green Lantern Corps #10GREEN LANTERN CORPS #10

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Morgan Hampton

Artists: Ig Guara, Fernando Pasarin, Will Conrad, and Oclair Albert

Colorists: Arif Prianto and Matt Herms

Letterer: Dave Sharpe

Green Lantern Corps #10 is an overwhelming experience. It isn’t just the story but having multiple artists working on one story creates a narrative that is tough to follow. There are a lot of great ideas that maybe this comic book focused on two things it would get a lot more accomplished. But by having to do so much with an army of characters makes for a comic you should wait to read as a trade rather than monthly.

Overall Rating: 5 Night Girls out of 10

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 Cover DTEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES X GODZILLA #1

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Tim Seeley

Artist: Fero Pe

Colorist: Luis Antonio Delcado

Letterer: Brian Kolek

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1 delivers exactly what fans of both franchises want from a fun comic book. Even with all the crossovers both have been involved in recently Tim Seeley and Fero Pe find a way to make this unique. The way different versions of Godzilla and TMNT elements make for a unique look and feel to how the mythology of this universe is presented. If you’re a fan of either of these franchises make sure to pick up this series. Click here to read the full review.

Overall Rating: 8.5 Night Girls out of 10

Comic Book Reviews 11/12/25: Transformers #26TRANSFORMERS #26

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Robert Kirkman

Artist: Dan Mora

Colorist: Mike Spicer

Letterer: Rus Wooton

Robert Kirkman and Dan Mora knock it out of the park with their debut follow-up with Transformers #26. The results of the latest Autobot vs Decepticon battle continue to be felt. Those results show that the lines will be blurred from multiple sides that go beyond the two sides. This creates a sense of unknown for where things will go, making it even more exciting to follow this series month-to-month. Click here to read the full review.

Overall Rating: 9.5 Night Girls out of 10

Comic Book Reviews 11/12/25: Ultimate Wolverine #11ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #11

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Chris Condon

Artist: Alessandro Cappuccio

Coloring: Bryan Valenza

Letterer: Cory Petit

Ultimate Wolverine #11 is shockingly impactful comic book. What goes down here could go down as one of the most memorable single issues of this iteration of the Ultimate Universe. That comes down to what Ultimate Colossus and Magik do to change the game in their war against The Opposition. It’s an act that leaves us wondering what Wolverine will do after what he was forced to witness. Click here to read the full review.
