All right, last week was crazy with Thanksgiving and travelling home to Miami to see my family for the week. Add to that the time I spent bringing the new Comic Book Revolution Forums online and I only cranked out two reviews. Oh well, hopefully normalcy returns with this week now that I am back home and back at work (Ha!).

We are getting a nice sized shipment of comic books headed to the Bunker today. We are getting a total of 13 titles. For the first time in a couple of weeks, my shipment of comic books is decidedly Marvel heavy.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? I am looking forward to Morrison’s retrospective in Batman #682. This issue will be told from Alfred’s point of view. Evidently, this issue and the next one will bridge the gap between the end of RIP and Final Crisis.

However, the DC comic book that I am most looking forward to reading is Justice Society of America #21. Yes, Johns has certainly milked this story for all that it is worth. And yes, Johns has drawn this story out longer than it should have been. But, I like the basic premise of the story and this issue should be an excellent read as we finally get some payoff for sitting through such a long build-up.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Trinity #27. This title continues to be average at best and I see no hope of that changing at any point soon.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? Well, even though I have a ton of Marvel comic books headed to the Bunker, I am not really all that excited about any of them. I guess I will go with Immortal Iron Fist #20. This has been a solid read even without Fraction and Brubaker. I dig all of the Immortal Weapons and I expect this issue to be another quality read.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? Take your pick. As always, I am not all that excited to read Amazing Spider-Man #579. I have no idea when Marvel will manage to get me to fall back in love with my favorite super-hero from my childhood.

I am so worn out and tired of this endless big event known as Secret Invasion that I am too exhausted to be interested in Secret Invasion #8. This big event has been patently mediocre. The only positive about this issue is that Secret Invasion will finally be over and hopefully Marvel can move onto something that is more original and interesting.

However the Marvel comic book that I am least looking forward to reading is New Avengers #47. I have little to no interest in this issue. This title has been practically unreadable as of late with these Secret Invasion tie-in issues being largely dull and pointless. I expect more of the same.
