Hunt For The Skinwalker #1 Preview

BOOM! Studios has provided a sneak peak at the upcoming writer Zac Thompson and artist Valeria Burzo’s Hunt For The Skinwalker #1 releasing on September 6th. This new comic book series is an adaption of Dr. Colm Kelleher and George Knapp’s 2005 book “Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah.” Joining Thompson and Burzo on this project are colorist Jason Wordie and letterer Joe Sabino.

The first issue will begin with a story inspired by one family’s confrontation with the unexplainable and terrifying. The teaser Hunt for the Skinwalker #1 states the following:

Unidentified flying objects. Animal mutilation. Terrifying otherworldly cryptids. Countless strange phenomena. For more than 50 years, a remote ranch in the Uinta Basin has been the most significant nexus for the paranormal. Inspired by one family’s confrontation with the unexplainable and terrifying… and what happened when they invited the largest scientific investigation of the paranormal to their ranch.

When Hunt For The Skinwalker #1 releases on September 6th it will arrive with a main cover by Martin Simmonds. Variant covers by Suspiria Vilchez and Justine Florentino will also be available. You can check out the covers and five-page preview below:
