Writer Sam Johns and artist Letizia Cadonici will begin a brand-new story arc with House of Slaughter #16. Ahead of its August 9th release BOOM! Studios has provided us with a first look at House of Slaughter #16. As you’ll see in the preview the White Masks are taking center stage for this new story arc. With that BOOM! Studios is teasing the following the solicitation for this upcoming issue:
There is nothing the ruthless White Masks won’t do to eliminate a nest of monsters. Nothing is apparently unthinkable or off-limits, as a special and infamous member of their ranks is dispatched to finish the job in Erie, Pennsylvania. Bait, a fan-favorite White Mask (a young boy with amputated arms and a tendency to survive suicidal odds), is dispatched with a mission more malicious than imaginable at hand. Something (or someone) else is killing the children now, and however unexpected… the children will find the one that hunts them viciously familiar…
For those that may not know, House of Slaughter is set in the world of Eisner Award-winning series Something Is Killing The Children created by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera. Joining Johns and Cadonici for House of Slaughter #16 are colorist Francesco Segala and letterer by AndWorld Design. Additionally, there will be two main covers, one by Javier Rodriguez and the other by Werther Dell’Edera and Miquel Muerto. Variant covers by Raúl Allén, Ricardo Lopez Ortiz, and Peach Momoko will also be available.
