Transformers #10 Preview – First Look At Shockwave’s Plan

This past week’s Transformers #9 was yet another action packed showdown between the Autobots and Decepticons. Now Skybound and Image Comics has given us a first look at what is to come next for the Autobots and the Decepticons in Transformers #10 to share. The comic book will be releasing this July 10th from the minds of Daniel Warren Johnson, Jorge Corona, and Mike Spicer.

Based on the preview for Transformers #10 more of the Energon Universe is going to be brought in. Or at least more of the history of the world will be explored. That goes along with the Decepticons plans being revealed, as teased in the solicitation:

When released, Transformers #10 will arrive with its main cover by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer. Additionally, variant covers will be handled by Jorge Corona & Spicer, Karen S. Darboe Ricardo Lopez Ortiz, and Tonči Zonjić. You can check out the covers and four-page preview below:

FIRST LOOK: SHOCKWAVE’S PLAN IS FINALLY REVEALED IN TRANSFORMERS #10 BY DANIEL WARREN JOHNSON AND JORGE CORONA 

LOS ANGELES 06/13/2024 — Today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, revealed interior pages and the lineup of variant covers for TRANSFORMERS #10, from writer Daniel Warren Johnson (ExtremityDo a Powerbomb), artist Jorge Corona (Middlewest), and colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater, Murder Falcon). The next chapter of the tentpole Energon Universe story will be available on shelves in comic book shops July 10, 2024.

In addition to the main cover by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer, the stacked list of variant covers for TRANSFORMERS #10 includes a cover B by series artist Jorge Corona & Spicer, a 1:10 incentive variant continuing the connecting cover series by Karen S. Darboe (Bloodline: Daughter of Blade)a 1:25 incentive variant by artist Ricardo Lopez Ortiz (Black Panther Vs. Deadpool), and a 1:50 incentive variant by Tonči Zonjić (The Immortal Iron First).

The Energon Universe officially began with the surprise first appearance of iconic TRANSFORMERS character Jetfire in Void Rivals, introducing the historic new collaboration between Hasbro and Skybound, with TRANSFORMERS and G.I. JOE comics finding a new home with the publisher.
