Blog Roll Part I

I have seen blog rolls done on other websites, so this is hardly an original idea. However, I think it is good one. There are so many excellent blogs out there in the blogosphere that are worth checking out. I figured a blog roll would be a great way to encourage you guys to give some of these blogs a shot. There are some really talented individuals that have blogs that I think make mine look pathetic. All right, here we go.

2 Gus Buying Comics: Chris and Jake created a fantastic blog. Unfortunately, the plug was pulled on this blog back on December 7, 2006. Chris and Jake had great chemistry as they delivered excellent reviews.

BeaucoupKevin: This is a cool blog run by Kevin Church. It is an entertaining read that offers musings on comic books as well as other topics that Kevin finds interesting. If you like non-mainstream titles, then you’ll enjoy the reviews of various independent comic books.

Brainfreeze: Comic Love: This cool mom delivers a well done blog that centers on comic books and toys. Brainfreeze posts good reviews of various toys that I have used as a barometer as to whether I’ll give a toy a try or not. I like Brainfreeze’s unique perspective on comic books and her musings on various comic book topics are always engaging.

Bully Says: Bully’s blog is hilarious! I love his humor and ability to poke fun at comic books while celebrating them at the same time. You get plenty of great pics from wacky silver age comic books. Plus, Bully delivers some entertaining photo-stories. Bully is certainly talented and that makes this blog definitely worth your time.

CalvinPitt: This is a great blog for short easy to digest reviews. Calvin also discusses and analyses the current events going on in the Marvel and DC universe. You get plenty of interesting commentary and all of it is well written.

Clandestine Critic: This was an incredible blog. Unfortunately, this blog was ended on September 15, 2006. That is a shame. It was a good read and had plenty of great insight into the world of comics as well as nice quick reviews.

Comics Should Be Good: This is the blog that is owned by Comic Book Resources. It is good for general discussions about the comic book industry and why comic books are great. The best part about this blog is that it is frequently updated by their team of writers.

Comics Continuum: This is a kick-ass website. Rob manages to constantly update this website with information about any move, TV show or cartoon that has ties to a comic book. Whether it is the Batman cartoon or the Legion cartoon or Smallville or Heroes, this is the place to be. This website also gives you the heads up on comics being published. And I’m not talking about just Marvel and DC titles. All comic book companies get some love here.
