DC Comics November 2026 comic book solicitations have arrived! DC Comics appears to being a lot of groundwork to set-up what their 2027 will look like. That includes Batman and Superman Family dealing with the fallout of their respective crossover events. There also appears to be big things going on with the Green Lantern, Flash and Justice League titles. What else do we have to look forward to from DC Comics in November? Find out with our ten big takeaways from DC Comics November 2026 comic book solicitations.
10) DEATH OF LOBO
At this point we can’t consider a character a major player without having at least gone through one death. That has become a right of passage that there is a story about a character’s passing and others remembering them. That is exactly what we will see happen in Lobo #9 as the Main Man will sacrifice himself for Blood Garnet Lantern.
Now will this exploration of a DC Universe without Lobo be a serious exploration of the Main Man’s death’s impact? It should absolutely be not. It wouldn’t honor Lobo’s character. The people grieving will likely quickly realize who they are mourning and move on. To keep Lobo around it looks like they are going to make him the Casper of the DCU until he physically returns.
9) SUPERMAN RETURNS JUST SO CLARK KENT CAN GET ARRESTED
There is a major development happening for Clark Kent and it won’t be coming from one of the Superman titles. Instead, possibly the biggest story that Superman will be involved in during November will be happening in Detective Comics. That is due to the fact that Detective Comics #1115 solicitation and cover teases Clark Kent being accused of murder.
With Clark Kent being put into such a situation there is only one person he can turn to for help. That’s right, its none other than Batman. It certainly a choice to have such a big development for Clark Kent happen in a Batman comic book. But at least it will give Batman a chance to stretch his detective skills to help out a friend. And maybe this will lead to something that could impact the Superman comic books.
8) BATWOMAN FACES OFF AGAINST BATMAN
Batwoman gunning down three people was something that immediately makes you wonder not if but when Batman would confront her. Batman has a strict no death policy with the Batman Family. It has led to a lot of disagreements with those in the Batman Family that are willing to use guns like Red Hood and Batwoman.
Based on the solicitation for Batwoman #9 the meeting between the cousins won’t be a nice reunion. It will be as you expect, something where Bruce Wayne will remind Kate Kane about his policy about killing. How Kate deals with that and how it shapes where Batwoman goes from there could be interesting set-up for a bigger story.
7) THE FLASH VS JUSTICE LEAGUE
It was only a matter of time before Wally West deciding to use his powers to stop crimes before they happened would get the attention of other heroes. The bad news for Wally is that his actions aren’t getting the attention of one or two DCU heroes. His actions are getting the attention of the entire Justice League.
As we see with the solicitation for The Flash #39 we’ll see at least Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Green Arrow coming after Wally. Since Justice League was named specifically we will likely get more than just those three. It will push Wally to be much more creative with his powers. This confrontation will also likely dictate where Wally’s current direction in The Flash will go.
6) TWO-FACE TAKES BARBARA GORDON TO COURT
Barbara Gordon’s time at the Supermax prison is not going to be getting any easier in November. That is because in Barbara Gordon: Breakout #7 we will see Two-Face force Batgirl/Oracle to face him in his area of specialty. That is a court room within the Supermax prison.
Vandal Savage having a courtroom that is run by Two-Face is exactly what you would expect. There is no one else another villain would trust more to send to court against than a villain with a legal background. This is also a great spot for Two-Face to start building back his credibility as Batman writers have seemingly forgotten he has existed.
This also works to challenge Barbara to utilize her legal knowledge in practice rather than behind a keyboard. It is not often we see this from Barbara.
5) HAL JORDAN CHANGING THE GREEN LANTERNS AGAIN
For a while now we’ve seen a major storyline building around Hal Jordan as his name appears in the Book of Oa. It has caused him to go on a new solo mission that made him pass the torch of main Green Lantern to Kyle Rayner. Since then he has been exploring what it means for his name to appear in the Book of Oa.
That sub-plot is going to be getting the main attention of the franchise’s solo series starting with September’s Green Lantern #39. That will lead into November’s Green Lantern #41 and Green Lantern Corps #22 where it is teased that the voice summoning Hal Jordan to the end of the emotional electromagnetic spectrum will be revealed. The revelation of who this voice is could very well change the future of the Green Lantern franchise as we head into 2027.
4) JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED HUNT THE DREAMER
Ever since Absolute Power a storyline that DC Comics has slowly been building up is Dreamer’s spot in the DC Universe. They went from being forced to be a key player in Amanda Waller’s plans to takeover the world to being a major reason why the heroes were able to defeat Waller. Since then we’ve seen Dreamer be closely tied to the things going on in Justice League Unlimited.
All that investment in Dreamer’s character will pay off in Justice League Unlimited #25 where they will be considered a fugitive. This is a major moment for Dreamer to really establish themselves. Especially considering the fact that a milestone issue for the Justice League Unlimited, DC Comics premiere team title, is being dedicated to put over Dreamer it is a make or break moment for the character’s immediate future.
3) ABSOLUTE BATMAN GOES BEYOND ARK M
The Absolute Batman ongoing is going to be taking a break in November. That does not mean DC Comics will go a month without their most successful series having a comic book being published. In the place of the ongoing series we are getting a new one-shot titled Absolute Batman: Beyond Ark M. This new one-shot is acting as a sequel to the Absolute Batman: Ark M special we got at the beginning of the year.
As with the previous one-shot, we are going to be diving even deeper into the darkest recesses of Ark M. This time will be much different as we didn’t have as much knowledge about Absolute Joker as we have almost a year later. There has been so much we have learned about how Absolute Joker has manipulated the world of Absolute Batman that changes are perspective on Ark M.
Absolute Batman: Beyond Ark M looks to be expanding Batman’s rogues gallery in the Absolute Universe with the introduction of Absolute Professor Pyg. Given how creepy Professor Pyg is in the normal DC Universe there is no telling how far the Absolute Universe version will go. Or, as his design hints, Absolute Professor Pyg could be more of an American Psycho disturbing level of villain.
2) BATMAN DEALS WITH THE ASSASSINATION OF BRUCE WAYNE
The Bad Seeds crossover will conclude with Gotham City completely altered. The solicitations for all the Batman Family titles releasing in November are very careful to not give away the ending of the Bad Seeds crossover. That includes the fact that we aren’t getting a new issue of the Poison Ivy releasing in November.
What we do know at least on the Batman side is that he will be dealing with a major sub-plot introduced just ahead of Bad Seeds. That was the fact that six deadly assassins arrived in Gotham City just ahead of the crossover. It was a set-up that won’t be dealt with until the crossover is over starting with November’s Batman #15.
This new story arc is a big chance to show off Batman’s martial arts abilities beyond just fighting his usual villains. These six assassins are blank slates that can force Batman to really test where he is at. Which could lean into the sub-plot of Bruce Wayne feeling his age. It is a sub-plot that has been brought up several times over the last few years. This type of story could further address this and how Batman is forced to be creative with combining his martial arts abilities and engineering ingenuity.
1) GET BRAINIAC CHANGES ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN FUTURE
November will see Absolute Superman join Absolute Batman and Absolute Wonder Woman in hitting a major milestone. That comes in the form of Absolute Superman #25. The 25th issue is a major first milestone issue for the series.
To mark the milestone Absolute Superman #25 will feature the conclusion of the “Get Brainiac” story arc. This is a major turning point as Absolute Brainiac has been the main villain of the series since it debuted. So it is significant that the storyline named after Absolute Brainiac would come to an end with Absolute Superman #25.
The solicitation is promising a shocking ending that will start a whole new era for Absolute Superman. This could mean anything as we’ve seen Absolute Brainiac do a variety of things to impact the lives of many different characters. One of the big ones is what we could see from Absolute Lex Luthor. While he is not mentioned in the solicitation, Absolute Lex Luthor factoring into the ending of “Get Brainiac” is something that Jason Aaron seems to be building towards.
