I have to admit that I was stunned that the LA Dodger fans and Chicago Cub fans showed up so strong in this poll. I honestly thought that the Red Sox were going to win this poll. And I figured that The Mets and Cards would also have made a bigger run at winning this poll. I obviously underestimated the Cubs and the Dodgers.
It looked like the Chicago Cubs were going to run away with this poll as they had been leading since the first day of voting. However, the LA Dodgers came on strong at the last moment to tie this poll.
I want to thank the followers who posted comments giving their support to the team of their choice. Some of the comments were rather passionate and in particular the one from bcvm22. Talk about eloquent. You could feel the passion for the Cubs in bcvm22’s comment.
The Revolution abhors a tie. So, the only proper thing to do is to have a death match between the Chicago Cubs and the LA Dodgers. Two teams enter and only one may win. Let the voting begin!
