The Revolution is getting in the Christmas spirit. I spent last weekend hunting down the perfect Christmas tree. I have twelve foot ceilings in my house and I finally convinced Mrs. Rokk to let me get as big of a tree as I wanted. So, I found a monster tree that just barely touches the ceiling. It looks awesome. Now, do I look forward to getting on a ladder to put Christmas lights on this beast? No. But, that is why I have Mrs. Rokk around.

We have a total of 14 issues headed to the Bunker this week. This shipment of comic books is most definitely DC heavy. And DC has several heavy hitters coming out today as well. On the other hand, Marvel’s selection of titles is rather skimpy.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? I am excited for Booster Gold #15 since Dan Jurgens assumes the writing duties with this issue. Hopefully, Jurgens can continue what Johns and Katz gave us on this title for the first twelve issues.

Action Comics #872 should be another exciting installment of the New Krypton story. This has been an exciting event and I fully expect Johns to throw a few more twists and turns our way.

However, the DC comic book that I am most looking forward to reading is Final Crisis #5. For the most part, I have enjoyed Morrison’s complex tale. And I hope that Final Crisis is able to give us an exciting and satisfying ending since this year’s other big event in Secret Invasion was a real disappointment.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? I continue to be bored by Trinity #28. I am contemplating dropping this title even though I hate to drop a title once I am this far into it. And if I can stick with Countdown to the bitter end then I can certainly stick with Trinity to the end as well.

Titans #8 is the DC comic book that I am least looking forward to reading. Winick continues to do nothing but re-hash older storylines. In this issue it appears that once again we get to deal with a traitor within the ranks of the Titans. And that the traitor is Jericho. Dios mio, like we have never read this story before. Thanks Winick for doing what I was thought was impossible in making the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans line-up virtually unreadable.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? I am interested in reading Secret Invasion: Dark Reign #1. I have my reservations about this new direction for the Marvel Universe, but I do think that this new direction has some potential. It all depends on how logically Marvel can execute this new era of the 616 universe.

However, I had to go with Big Hero 6 #4 as the Marvel comic book that I am most looking forward to reading. Claremont has done a fantastic job with this shonen manga inspired comic book. This title has been pure fun and I expect another enjoyable read with this issue.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Amazing Spider-Man #580. Now the last two issue story arc was actually pretty good. But, with only four titles headed my way from Marvel, Amazing Spider-Man is the weakest one out of the bunch.
