March was a heck of a month including in the world of comics. There were plenty of notable things that took place during March. That includes Captain Marvel being given a big torch to wield, Daredevil returning, Robin’s 80th anniversary celebration, a major shake-up for the X-Men, and much more. Let’s dive into some of the big things that happened in the world of comics with March 2020 top moments.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #41

The time Nick Spencer has invested in building up Spider-Man and Boomerang is paying off. The chemistry between these two freenemies has become a lot of fun play out whenever they are on screen together.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #42

Not sure who asked for the origin story of Gog but Nick Spencer gave it to us and he did a great job. It definitely gets you invested in who Gog is even though the timing may be questionable for such an origin story to happen in Amazing Spider-Man.
BATMAN #90

The look on Joker’s face really tells the story of a villain who just went through a big change to be even more sinister than before.
BATMAN #91

The argument if Batman is helping stop bad guys or is helping create the threats that plague Gotham City is an age old debate. Having Batman address that when speaking with Deathstroke shows that he is aware of this and is still actively working to make things better.
BATMAN: CURSE OF THE WHITE KNIGHT #8

Strong moments like this remind you why Dick Grayson is always the moral compass that Bruce Wayne needs as Batman. They’ve been working together for so long that because of their respect and similar backgrounds Dick Grayson’s words cut deeper for Bruce.
BLACK CAT #10

Deadpool should really watch out playing a game of luck against Black Cat. It won’t turn out well as this moment with Black Cat turning him into her boat’s figurehead for messing with her mission.
CAPTAIN MARVEL #16

Captain America giving Captain Marvel his shield to use against Vox Supreme was a nice continuation of how he did not fight her during their confrontation in “The Last Avenger.” Hopefully we see more follow up on this given their background and history as teammates.
DAREDEVIL #19

It was only a matter of time before Matt Murdock fully embraced being Daredevil again. Having him sense how the people of Hell’s Kitchen have risen up to defend the community using Daredevil as a symbol was an effective way to have Matt move in that direction.
DCEASED: UNKILLABLES #2

Seeing Cassandra Cain and Lady Shiva fighting each other takes me back to Cassandra’s Batgirl series. Hope it’s brought back up what the standings of best fighters in the DC Universe are.
GHOST-SPIDER #8

This back-and-forth between Peter Parker and Earth-65 Gwen Stacy is a good example of why Marvel keeps repeating the same cycle that brought on Civil War. Peter not immediately stepping up to mentor Miles Morales, Gwen and other young heroes seeing as he was in their shoes before is disappointing. The same goes for Gwen with how much shade she throws at Peter when only hearing what Kamala’s Law is and not that Peter and other heroes are also just learning about it.
GO GO POWER RANGERS #30

One of the difficulties of being a Power Ranger is making sure you still have style with a limited color palette to select from.
MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS/TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #4

Talk about hype to max when the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and April O’Neil morphed into the Turtle Rangers. Just an awesome moment that you didn’t think would happen beyond fan art.
NIGHTWING #70

If this is what Joker does to one of the fake Nightwings then Ric Grayson better be extremely concerned. No telling what happens when Joker finds out Ric has taken over for Dick Grayson.
OUTLAWED #1

And just like that Marvel begins their new version of Civil War’s Superhero Registration Act in the form of Kamala’s Law that specifically targets teenage heroes.
ROBIN 80TH ANNIVERSARY 100-PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR

Out of all the Robin’s Tim Drake is the closest to, if not superior, Bruce Wayne’s detective abilities. At the same time, Tim has been the most stuck with what he should be doing next since Damian Wayne took over as Batman’s Robin. Damian being the one to call Tim out on this and opening Tim’s eyes that it is time to move forward was a great way to finalize the transition. Because while Tim is a lot like Bruce he also shares similarities to Dick Grayson as someone who has outgrown being in Bruce’s shadow or thinking that he has to be Batman. Just like Dick Grayson, it is time for Tim to create his own legacy beyond being Robin or Batman.
ROBIN 80TH ANNIVERSARY 100-PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR

The break-up between Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson as the original Dynamic Duo has always been a big point of contention between them. This gives us a different angle on why Dick Grayson left as we see that Bruce understood it was time for his protege to create his own path in life. Whether that is as Robin, Nightwing, Batman or something else.
SPIDER-WOMAN #1

There is no escaping from Spider-Woman even if the bad guys try to escape in a helicopter. These mercenaries learned that the hard way.
STRANGE ACADEMY #1

Talk about an incredibly memorable way for your first day at Strange Academy to go. Doctor Strange sure knows how to keep his students on their toes from the beginning.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #104

The best way to get some quality family time is going to a metal concert. Jennika is about to teach her brothers this valuable lesson.
THOR #4

Fantastic scene of Sif standing up to Thor for his behavior and not seeing how he is truly acting as he tries to barrel ahead with Galactus’ plan
WOLVERINE #2

First it was killing a mutant wearing Doctor Doom armor in X-Men/Fantastic Four #3 now he kills all his X-Factor teammates, including Jean Grey. Wolverine really needs to do a better job of thinking before he just goes with killing all his opponents. He should learn a thing or two from Old Man Logan’s experiences.
WONDER WOMAN #754

The relationship between Diana Prince and Donna Troy has been one of distance for a long time. With everything that has gone on for both of this is a good time for Wonder Woman to have them reconnect again.
X-FORCE #9

Wolverine sure has a weird way of spending quality time with his family. Reminder to never play the drinking games Wolverine comes up with.
X-MEN #9

All Hail King Broo. This is sure to complicate things for the X-Men and the Marvel Universe as a whole. Good thing no big universe spanning event is around the corner….oh wait….
X-MEN/FANTASTIC FOUR #3

Charles Xavier not talking or defending himself shows that there is a lot of truth to what Doctor Doom is saying. As more challenges to Krakoa appear the more we are seeing how Xavier’s cult leader approach is being shown on the surface rather than hiding in the shadows.
