Thank god. It looks like a normal shipment of new comic books is headed to the Bunker this week. This should be far more manageable than last week’s ridiculously large shipment of comic books.

All right, which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That is a tough one. 52 #41 keeps the ball rolling on what has been one of the titles that I enjoy reading the most. There are very few titles on the market that are capturing my attention as much as 52. Of course, Batman #663 heralds the return of Grant Morrison. I’m thrilled since this means that sub-par filler story arc concerning Grotesk is finally over. And lastly, you have Geoff Johns’ white hot Justice Society of America. This title is insanely good.

I’m going to have to go with Justice Society of America #3. Johns has done an amazing job on this comic book dangling so many interesting teasers in front of the reader.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Trials of Shazam #5. My worst fears are slowly coming true on this title as Winick is trying way too hard to make this new version of Captain Marvel way too “hip” and “trendy.”

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That one is easy. Astonishing X-Men #20. Joss Whedon is doing a great job on this title. We are quickly hurtling to Whedon’s climactic ending to his run on this title.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading. That one is also really easy. Ghost Rider #8. C’mon, you know that if a comic book is being written by Daniel Way then I’m probably going to be disappointed.

Overall, it looks like we have a pretty nice week of comic books headed to the Bunker. I hope you guys all enjoy your comic books tomorrow. As always, I’ll try and begin posting reviews as soon as possible.
