It looks like The Revolution is getting a monster sized shipment of comic books headed to the Bunker today. We have a monster total of 14 titles for this week. Once again, we are getting another Marvel heavy week. As always, I’ll try to post as many reviews as possible.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That would be Countdown #44. Dini has me completely hooked on this story and I’m always anxiously awaiting the next week’s issue.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Teen Titans #48. Why? Because this issue is going to be an Amazons Attack tie-in issue. I loathe tie-in issues to big events, even if I am collecting the mini-series surrounding that big event. Therefore, I really hate these tie-in issues when I’m not buying the mini-series surrounding the big event. That is the case with Amazons Attack. I have no interest in getting that mini-series nor do I care about the tie-in issues.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? This is an easy choice. It would be X-Factor #20. David has made this title one of Marvel’s strongest reads. We got a great hook ending to the last issue and I’m interested to see what Quicksilver has in store for Rictor and if Rictor is going to join forces with Quicksilver.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? This is a ridiculously easy choice: Wolverine Origins #15. Way has consistently cranked out horrid reads and has managed to do next to nothing in the span of fourteen issues. I expect more of the same with this issue.

I’ll try my best to start posting reviews as soon as possible. I hope everyone enjoys their new comic books for this week.

  1. I’m not reading the Amazon Attacks story, so I’m not looking forward to the Teen Titans this week either, but I’ll still get it of course. 🙂 With Cassie getting a mini-series, I don’t want to miss anything that might lead into that.

I’m looking forward to Countdown the most as well, but Legion 31 is a cool one too!

  2. There was some holiday in Quebec, so the shipping in Canada (eastern Canada, anyway) is delayed until tomorrow (I shudder to think what happens next week, between Canada Day on the 1st and Independence Day on the 4th).

I’m most looking forward to X-Men #200; X-Men vs. Mister Sinister’s Marauders, and the first “Endangered Species” story.
