With the preview of Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #12 we see that Battle Beast and Conquest will continue to deal with outside forces as they continue their fight. That is something that is adding to the intensity of their fight as seen in the solicitation for the upcoming comic book issue.

First Look: Conquest vs. Battle Beast Continues for Round Three in Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #12

LOS ANGELES 7/16/2026 — Today Skybound and Image Comics shared a first look at Invincible Universe: Battle Beast #12The brutal arc finale of the bestselling series from co-creator/writer Robert Kirkman (Skinbreaker, Void Rivals), co-creator/artist Ryan Ottley (Invincible), colorist Annalisa Leoni (Cobra Commander), and letterer Rus Wooton (The Walking Dead) arrives in comic book shops on August 19, 2026.

Seriously… did you think they’d only fight for two issues? One seeks the ultimate conquest. The other seeks a glorious death. The universe is beginning to miss quieter catastrophes.

Invincible Universe: Battle Beast#12 will feature a main cover by Ryan Ottley and Annalisa Leoni plus a variant cover lineup including an open to order cover by Leinil Yu & Romulo Fajardo Jr., a connecting 1:10 incentive variant by Chris Burnham and Brian Reber, a 1:25 incentive variant by Riley Rossmo, a 1:50 incentive variant by Miki Montlló, and a 1:100 incentive variant by Toni Fejzula.

Invincible has never been hotter. Season 4 of the hit animated series n on Prime Video became the most-watched season of the series to date. Season 5 is currently in production for release next year and an early renewal for Season 6 was recently announced. Skybound and Quarter Up’s newly released tag fighting game Invincible VS, which features Ella Mental, has also officially surpassed one million players.
