Transformers #7 First Look

Transformers #7 Preview – Starscream vs Soundwave First Look

Transformers #6 delivered an impactful conclusion to the first story arc in Daniel Warren Johnson’s Energon Universe series. While the Autobots were able to defeat the Decepticons in their latest clash it wasn’t without major loses on both sides. Following up on these events Skybound and Image Comics have provided us with a preview of Transformers #7 to share.

Releasing on April 10th, Transformers #7 will see artist Jorge Corona joining Johnson and colorist Mike Spicer as part of the creative team for the series. Corona’s arrival comes as Starscream will have to deal with the fallout of leading the Decepticons to be defeated by the Autobots. That includes major opposition from Soundwave, as teased in the solicitation for Transformers #7:

Who will lead the Decepticons? After last issue’s shocking ending, Starscream and Soundwave battle for leadership – and the result will change the Decepticons forever. And the Autobots learn they may have more allies than they imagined…

Transformers #7 will arrive in comic book shops with its main cover done by Johnson and Spicer. Additionally, variant coversby Corona & Spicer, Karen S. Darboe, Caspar Wijngaard, Taurin Clarke, and Mike Del Mundo will also be available.
