This April writer Tony Fleecs, artist Dave Wachter, and letterer Pat Brosseau will be debuting their new series, Uncanny Valley, with BOOM! Studios. Ahead of the release of Uncanny Valley #1 BOOM! Studios has provided us with a first look at the debut issue.

Uncanny Valley is pitched as a wild ride of cartoon mayhem, family drama, and deadly secrets. This is further elaborated on in the solicitation for Uncanny Valley #1:

Oliver is a seemingly typical 12 year old boy… except for a mysterious family history that seems to start and end with his mother, and unexplainable powers, that is. He can do things other boys can’t, to the point of landing him in some trouble. Baffled by the surreal cartoonish nature of his abilities and followed by a murder of peculiar crows, the mystery behind Oliver’s family history finally unfolds!

Uncanny Valley #1 will arrive with its main cover being handled by Dave Wachter. Additional variant covers by Tony Fleecs, Brett Bean, and Dan Mora will also be released for the first issue. You can check out the covers and six-page preview below.
