Weekly Comic Book Reviews For 3/4/26: Absolute Superman #17ABSOLUTE SUPERMAN #17

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Jason Aaron

Artist: Juan Ferreyra

Letterer: Becca Carey

Absolute Superman #17 balances presenting how horrifying Absolute Parasite is while maintaining keeping classic superhero elements. The balance between the two is struck well to create great concern for the citizens of Metropolis. That concern creates an even bigger spotlight on how Absolute Superman goes about being the ray of hope that’ll save the day. What goes on in Metropolis makes what happens between Absolute Brainiac and Lex Luthor in another part of the world hit even harder. The final visuals we are left with in particular is something that creates a lot of unknown for what is to come in the Absolute Universe.

Overall Rating: 8.5 Night Girls out of 10

Weekly Comic Book Reviews For 3/4/26: Batman #7BATMAN #7

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Matt Fraction

Artist: Jorge Jimenez

Colorist: Tomeu Morey

Letterers: Clayton Cowles and Jorge Jimenez

Batman #7 is a comic book that we won’t know how effective it was until much later into Matt Fraction’s run. As it stands this was just another Batman vs Joker confrontation. It is nothing special, even though Fraction and Jorge Jimenez do everything they can to do so. Even the “new” thing that’s presented was something that we saw heavily leaned into during the Joker War a few years ago. It is really going to be what comes out of this that’ll be important to how Batman #7 importance will be viewed.

Overall Rating: 6.5 Night Girls out of 10

Weekly Comic Book Reviews For 3/4/26: DC K.O. #5DC K.O. #5

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson

Artist: Javi Fernandez, Xermanico, and Wes Craig

Colorist: Alejandro Sanchez

Letterer: Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou

DC K.O. #5 effectively provides a conclusion to the first act of the DC All In era. Things close out in a way that both the DC Universe heroes and Darkseid win. This is accomplished with a comic book that is filled with epic visuals that show why this event was so important. And because of the result in this finale, we get a whole new foundation that DC Comics can build their future on top of.

Overall Rating: 8 Night Girls out of 10

Weekly Comic Book Reviews For 3/4/26: Power Rangers Prime #15POWER RANGERS PRIME #15

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Melissa Flores

Artist: Federico Sorressa

Colorist: Joana Lafuente

Letterer: Ed Dukeshire

Power Rangers Prime #15 escalates things as we see how the Eltarians impacted the history of the team. Specifically, when it comes Lauren Shiba’s family and the extreme approach they have taken due to what they’ve been through by the Eltarians. This creates an unexpected Power Rangers vs Power Rangers scenario as the Prime Rangers are forced into making major decisions. Their decisions, in particular Lauren’s, sets up what could be the best comic book of the series with the next issue.

Overall Rating: 8 Night Girls out of 10

Weekly Comic Book Reviews For 3/4/26: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #4TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES X GODZILLA #4

CREATIVE TEAM

Writer: Tim Seeley

Artist: Fero Pe

Colorist: Luis Antonio Delgado

Letterer: Brian Kolek

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #4 is a comic book best enjoyed by simply embracing the ridiculousness. Especially when you have the Ninja Turtles trying to match the power of Godzilla and other Kaiju’s. To their credit, Tim Seeley and Fero Pe know this by delivering epic Kaiju-level battles across the entire issue. This helps make this be exactly what it needs to be. Fun, massive action that gets you excited to read what action set pieces we’ll get in the next issue.

Overall Rating: 8 Night Girls out of 10
