Continuing the tradition started with Shattered Grid, Power Rangers is going to be kicking off its 12-month event, Darkest Hour, next month. In anticipation for this big event BOOM! Studios has shared with us a first look at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #111 releasing on August 23, 2023. The creative team for the first chapter in the Darkest Hour event will be writer Melissa Flores, artist Simona Di Gianfelice, colorists Raúl Angulo and Jose Enrique Fernandez, and letterer Ed Dukeshire.

Darkest Hour is hitting at perfect time to be part of the Power Rangers franchise 30th anniversary celebration. In honor of that BOOM! Studios has assembled an all-star line-up of cover artists for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #111.
