The third chapter of the groundbreaking DARKEST HOUR event continues as the number of corrupted Rangers pouring through the Master Arch becomes overwhelming. But this time they’re taking captives! As Billy seeks answers from the only beings who may be able to provide them, an old ally of Zordon’s may be able to turn the tide… but will it be enough as Dark Specter’s infectious corruption spreads out of control across time and space?
The five page preview we see below hints at something even bigger. Specifically Mistress Vile and Dark Specter appear to be using the Morphin Grid to travel across time and space. This Multiverse trip leads them to corrupt Dino Charge Rangers to add to their ranks. This follows the prelude to Darkest Hour in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #110 where Death Ranger was leading the corrupted Wild Force Rangers as part of Dark Specters forces. This development takes what Lord Drakkon did during Shattered Grid to another level. Mistress Vile and Dark Specter’s plans open up the Power Rangers throughout history to have big roles on either side of the conflict in Darkest Hour.
