Darkest Hour kicked off its second half with major developments on all sides of the conflict in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #117. Now ahead of the next chapter of Darkest Hour, BOOM! Studios has provided us with a first look at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #118 to share.

Reality hits Mistress Vile hard and she does the unthinkable, which puts her in dire straits, to the point where her survival is on the line! As Dark Specter’s relentless assault continues, Mistress Vile finds refuge in a familiar place, but finds unexpected company. But most importantly, where will fate lead a trapped Tommy, desperate to reunite with the other Rangers?
As you’ll see in the preview the Power Rangers are holding their ground on the Moon in Bandora Palace. While Lord Zedd makes his displeasure known about his power diminishing due to having to hold up the barrier around the palace he knows his alliance with the Power Rangers is necessary. Though a more uneasy alliance appears to be developing as Ranger Slayer and the Phantom Ranger don’t have the most pleasant first meeting.
Joining writer Melissa Flores are artists Simona Di Gianfelice and Marco Renna, colorists Raúl Angulo and Jose Enrique Fernández, and letterer Ed Dukeshire. The main cover of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #118 will be handled by Taurin Clarke. Additional variant covers by Björn Barends, Goñi Montes, and Michael Walsh will also be available.
