We have a total of 13 titles headed to the Bunker today. This week is heavier with DC titles. I have to admit that this week does not really excite me all that much. The past several weeks have had some big issues coming out. This week is lacking that one or two titles that really has me on the edge of my seat with anticipation.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? I am looking forward to Nightwing #153 with decidedly mixed feelings. I have been so impressed with Tomasi’s handling of Nightwing. Tomasi managed to do what I thought was impossible and completely resurrect this title. And the best part is how Tomasi has been able to make Nightwing his own man. Tomasi has been able to accentuate the differences between Bruce and Dick while at the same time being completely respectful of the relationship between the two characters. So, because I have enjoyed Tomasi’s run on this title so much I am rather sad to see that DC is cancelling this title in favor of the “Battle for the Cowl.”

Let’s keep the Tomasi love-fest rolling as I am also looking forward to Green Lantern Corps #33. As we inch closer and closer to Blackest Night, this title only gets hotter and hotter. I fully expect to get yet another exciting and action packed read with this issue.

However, Action Comics #874 is the comic book that I am most looking forward to reading. I am curious to see in what direction both this title and Superman take as we head toward a major shake-up in both titles.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? Trinity #37 will surely be another average read. However, the DC comic book that I am least looking forward to reading is Titans #10. It would nice to see the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans receiving a new writer who is able to inject some originality and excitement worthy of this classic roster.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? I am excited to read Thor #600. This title is always a solid read. However, the Marvel comic book that I am most looking forward to reading is Incognito #2. Yeah, I know that technically it is an Icon title, but we will consider it a Marvel title for these purposes. Brubaker delivered an excellent debut issue on this title and I fully expect another strong effort with Incognito #2.

Which Marvel comic book and I least looking forward to reading? That would be Amazing Spider-Man #586. This title continues to be terribly hit-or-miss with me. And lately it has been heavier on the “miss” side.
