All right, we have another manageable week headed to The Bunker. With just seven titles to review, I believe that even my slacker ass will be able to crank out all of them in a somewhat timely fashion.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? It comes down to 52 #39 and Teen Titans #43. They are both excellent reads. Johns has done such a good job making Teen Titans a consistently exciting read. And Teen Titans #43 debuts the new villainous Titans East. However, I’m going to have to go with 52 #39. The boys at DC have impressed me with their work on this title. And 52 is really heating up for one wild and explosive finale.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters #7. Gray and Palmiotti have really lost their focus and direction on this title. I loved their work on Battle for Bludhaven. And I thought that Uncle Sam and the Freedom Fighters started off strong in the first issue. But, this minis-series has gotten worse and worse with each issue.

Gray and Palmiotti have gotten more obsessed with preaching their beliefs and trying to be the next Hunter S. Thompson rather than just delivering a quality super hero comic book. Look, I love Hunter S. Thompson. But, Gray and Palmiotti are no Hunter S. Thompson and should stop trying to evoke his image.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That is too easy. Daredevil #93. Brubaker has done a stellar job on this title. You always know you are going to get a good read when you pick up the newest issue of Daredevil. Plus, we are blessed with not having to deal with the Civil War storyline in this title. How delightfully refreshing.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? X-Men #195. I’m not impressed with the writing. The story arc has been average at best. And the artwork has just been a train wreck. I would dig this style of art if I was reading an American manga styled comic book, but not on a title like X-Men.

As always, I will effort to begin posting reviews as soon as possible. Enjoy your new comic books!
