Image Comics will be releasing the debut series for writers Ethan S. Parker and Griffin Sheridan, Kill Your Darlings, starting on September 6, 2023. In collaboration with Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman’s Substack comics imprint Kids Love Chains Press, Kill Your Darlings Parker and Griffin will be collaborating with artists Bob Quinn and John J. Hill. This new series is teased as Narnia meets Hereditary.
When speaking on his debut Ethan Parker had the following to say:
“Kill Your Darlings is truly a passion project: An uncompromising, deeply personal story told just how we wanted to tell it. I couldn’t be more proud of our unbelievable team, we’re cooking up something genuinely special together. I wish this book existed when I was a kid. It would’ve messed me up in the best way.”
Adding to this, Griffin Sheridan had the following to say about working on Kill Your Darlings:
