Super Lord Zedd certainly does not disappoint. We already knew that Lord Zedd on his own is a powerful villain. Getting this new Super form showed he was completely overwhelming in his fight against Leonardo and Tommy Oliver. This not only accomplished in putting over Super Shredder but position our heroes to be set for their final roles in this crossover. The fight was the reality check both Leo and Tommy needed. It forced them to make a decision that proves important to how the stage becomes set for the finale.
Intense Power Ranger Action
Ryan Parrott and Vincenzo Federici have constantly shown they know how to deliver big event level action set pieces. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #4 is yet another example of this. Parrott crafts a story that gives Federici plenty of opportunities to deliver moments that’ll get fans hyped. Whether it is the combo moves or how the chemistry is put on display, it is all cool moments for fans. For this type of crossover it is exactly what should and is being delivered.

Several Major Surprise Arrivals
As cool as all the action set pieces are, what will standout in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #4 are the surprise. You would think that after two previous crossovers there weren’t any surprises left to deliver. Parrott and Federici show that is wrong as they still have plenty up their sleeves. There are two reveals that as soon as they happen they pop off the screen. Everything about these reveals help elevate the story to another level, with cool callbacks from both franchises long-time and recent history.
Setting Up Epic Finale of the Trilogy
The surprises that are in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #4 help set up an epic finale. The way the surprises are used in conjunction with further fusion of elements from both franchises is paced well. The pacing helps to make every character stand out with clearly defined roles and pairings. The combination of the TMNT technology and Power Rangers Zords and mechs in this fourth issue is an example of that. It all works to create maximum amount of hype for the finale.
