Damn! Now that is one insanely huge week! DC just piles on the titles this week with 11 titles. Throw in the good sized haul from Marvel consisting of 6 titles and The Revolution has a whopping 17 titles headed to the Bunker this week. I don’t think I’ve ever had that many issues headed my way. Incredible.

I’m going to have to quit my job in order to post reviews for all these titles. And, I don’t think that is an option. So, I’ll have to be very picky about which issues merit a review. I will say that I’ll probably devote most of my attention to the new issue of 52 and all the World War III issues.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That is a tough choice. There are so many great DC titles coming out this week. We have 52 #50 and the World War III issues. Then you have the new Legion Animated Series comic book. There is also the appearance of the Levitz Era Fatal Five in Brave and the Bold #3.

They are all going to be great issues, but I’m going to have to go with 52 #50. With all of the World War III issues coming out it looks like we are finally hitting the dramatic climax to 52. This should be a great read.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Nightwing Annual #2. Annuals are generally a waste of time that sport a guest writer and guest artists and a throw away storyline. The last annual for Action Comics is one of the few annuals that was actually a great read. I don’t expect Nightwing Annual #2 to be one of those few quality annuals.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? Another tough question. We have several good candidates in Ultimate Spider-Man #108, Moon Knight #9 and X-Factor #18. I’m going to have to go with X-Factor #18. This has been one of Marvel’s best comic books on the market and certainly is very underrated.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That comes down to Ultimate X-Men #81 and X-Men #198. Neither title impresses me in either the writing category or in the art category. I’m going to have to go with X-Men #198. The art is a sloppy hot mess and Carey’s writing is resoundingly generic.

I’ll try my best to start posting reviews as soon as possible. I hope everyone enjoys their new comic books for this week.
