It appears that we have a pretty nice collection of new comic books headed to the Bunker on Wednesday. 11 comic books makes this a pretty large week. I’ll have to pick and choose which issues are worthy of getting a review.

All right, which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That would be 52 #42. Yeah, I know, I didn’t give the last issue of 52 a particularly glowing review. However, I just can’t believe that the boys at DC are going to turn in back to back stinker issues on this title. Especially considering how close we are to the end.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Robin #159. I enjoyed the One Year Later storyline; however, Beechen has really lost his focus on this title. The past several issues have been pretty unimpressive.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? That is a tough choice. Both Iron Fist and Punisher: War Journal have been surprisingly good. I have become a huge Matt Fraction fan because of these two titles. However, I’m going to have to go with Iron Fist #3. Brubaker and Fraction have created a title that has far exceeded my initial expectations.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That is easy. Amazing Spider-Man #538. The Civil War tie-in issues on Amazing Spider-Man have been shockingly poor reads.
