All right, this week looks much more normal than the insanity that was last week. We have a total of 11 titles headed to the Bunker today. As always, I’ll slap up as many reviews as I can.

Which DC comic book am I most looking forward to reading? Honestly, none of the DC titles this week particularly excite me. Having said that, I’m going to have to go with Countdown to Mystery #1. Now, I don’t think it is going to be anything that special. However, I am interested to see what direction DC takes with this new version of Dr. Fate.

Which DC comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That would be Flash #232. I was really disappointed in the story that Waid gave us last issue and I don’t see this attack of the water aliens storyline improving much with this issue.

Which Marvel comic book am I most looking forward to reading? There isn’t much to choose from with Marvel this week, so I’m going to go with Captain America #30. Brubaker is doing a phenomenal job on this title and Brubaker is really starting to crank up the intensity on this current story arc.

Which Marvel comic book am I least looking forward to reading? That is an easy choice. World War Hulk #4. I have found this smashfest to be rather boring, predictable and extremely one-dimensional.

I’ll try my best to start posting reviews as soon as possible. I hope everyone enjoys their new comic books for this week.

  1. I got Captain America #25 (which was mindblowingly awesome; best issue since #25, rivals it and a few others for the best issue of the run), New X-Men #42 (also excellent), World War Hulk #4 (thought it was great), and the Green Arrow/Black Canary Wedding Special (which was absolutely hilarious).

  2. You should read New X-Men #42, it’s a great read, and leads up to the upcoming Massiah Complex crossover in the x-book, in which the book will play a big part.

Also, will you post reviews of Moon Knight #12 and Daredevil #100?
