That is a pretty nice sized week. All right, which comics am I most looking forward to? That is pretty easy this week. 52 #6 and Civil War #2. 52 has been a great read week in and week out. It has been my most anticipated comic book each week since it started. Civil War impressed me with the first issue. It isn’t going to be a masterpiece or anything like that. But, it is going to be one fun and entertaining ride like a quality summer blockbuster movie.

Now, what comics am I least looking forward to? That is also a pretty easy question. Nightwing #121, Ultimate X-Men #71 and Wolverine Origins #3. All of these titles are dangerously close to getting the axe here at the Revolution. Nightwing has been slow and boring. Ultimate X-Men has been terrible. Wolverine Origins has been less than impressive since Way clearly doesn’t know how to write Logan. Plus, Way is too obsessed with trying to “out-Ennis” Garth Ennis.

One title I am curious about is Squadron Supreme #4. I love the concept. I love JMS as a writer and I love the artwork. I really enjoyed the first two issues. However, Squadron Supreme #3 was a huge load of steaming dog crap. JMS really needs to step it up a notch to make up for such a lackluster and unimpressive issue.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to get my reviews up in a timely fashion. But, it is World Cup time and I am obsessed with the World Cup. So, it is possible that my time spent to reviews and comics will be taken up with watching as many World Cup games as is humanly possible.
