Batman

Batman is the most dependable character in comics and, too often, the most coasted-on. DC knows a Bat-book will sell, and that’s exactly why we hold them to a higher standard. This is Comic Book Revolution’s home for everything Batman: issue-by-issue reviews of the main title, Detective Comics, Absolute Batman and the rest of the Bat-family line, plus news on creative teams, events and solicitations.

We also follow the money. When a Batman book tops the sales charts, we look at how much of that came from variants and ratio covers and how much from readers, and what it means for DC’s place in the market. You won’t find hype here. You’ll find honest takes from people who have been reading Batman for decades and still care whether the comics are any good.
