Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #112 Preview – Darkest Hour Event Continues!

As part of the Power Rangers 30th anniversary celebration the Darkest Hour event started within the pages of BOOM! Studios’ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. Writer Melissa Flores and artist Simona Di Gianfelice kicked off the Darkest Hour event in strong fashion with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #111. Now ahead of its September 27th release date BOOM! Studios has shared an early look at Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #112.

For the second chapter of the Darkest Hour Hendry Prasetya, the original artist for BOOM! Studios’ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, will make his return to work alongside Flores. They will be joined by colorist Matt Herms and letterer Ed Dukeshire. The solicitation for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #112 teases the following:

A Master Arch explosion strands Trini, Zack, Kimberly, Tommy, Aisha and Matt on a mysterious and deadly planet, where they’re constantly under attack by Mistress Vile’s Thralls. Meanwhile, the creeping infection in the sky continues to grow… 

At the same time, Billy finds himself in a pocket of interdimensional space inside the Morphin Grid, where he confronts a construct of a recently departed friend…
