Mech Cadets #2 Preview – Unexpected Allies & Ultimate Sacrifices!

Fresh of the debut of its animated series adaptation and sequel comic book series BOOM! Studios has provided us with a preview of Mech Cadets #2. Releasing on September 13th, Mech Cadets #2 continues the story for the sequel series by writer Greg Pak, artist Takeshi Miyazawa, colorist Ian Herring, and letters by Simon Bowland. The second issue teases the cadets will be dealing with what they discovered at the end of the first issue with a Sharg prison:

The cadets don’t know what’s in store for them when they discover a Sharg prison! But solemnity strikes as the battles rage and our heroes and even their Robos have tragedy in store. And as all feels hopeless, Hero Force Two comes under attack, and an unexpected ally will make the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good…

When Mech Cadets #2 arrives in comic book shops on September 13th it will ship with a main cover by Takeshi Miyazawa and Ian Herring along with variant covers from InHyuk Lee and Qistina Khalidah. You can check out the covers and five-page preview below:
